At first, I gave him 1/2 tab twice a day ( he is 17.4 lbs) and that amount proved to be too much ( got a little soft serve poop) so now I only give 1/4 capsule at a time and not every day, maybe every 2-3 days and the reason for that is because Bubba doesn't eat all his food when I put the NM in. He doesn't mind the GE or the PB but something about the NM he does not like. So, I use pumpkin daily along with every 2-3 days 1/4 cap of the NM and so far that is keeping him moving.

You will have to play with it. Maybe start with the 1/2 capsule and once he is going good for you then do a maintenance dose of 1/4 cap .
 
TGIF! I also have been trying the NM 1/2capsule 2x/day, but there's something in it that Bronx doesn't like. Hard to get him to eat any food with it. Never had the problem with their other products I use (GlucoEnsure & PancreasBooster)
 
Just saw above Bubba doesn't like it either, I have been trying ground flax last few days and Bronx doesn't seem to mind that at all. Use that in his overnight meal w/Slippery Elm, a little pumpkin, 1/4tsp Mirilax & PetWellbeing Smooth BM Gold. Was told to start off real slow on the flax, just a pinch at first.

I really don't want to make the pilgrimage to Natural Pawz this weekend but I think I will. I need to get some pumpkin - they have organic pumpkin that is in small pouches. I want to get some of the new Tiki Mousse and I need some more of the Chick Magnet (med carb/low phos).

mini measuring spoons
I open one capsule and figure out which spoon is 1/2 cap or 1/4 cap. It isn't exact but neither is eye balling out of the capsule. I then empty out a bunch of capsules into a small rubbermaid container and use the mini-spoons to administer. FYI - half capsule of the PB and GlucoEnsure is 1/16th teaspoon (Pinch), 1/2 capsule of the B12 is 1/32 (smidgen) :D

Tad = 1/4 tsp
Dash = 1/8 tsp
Pinch = 1/16 tsp
Smidgen = 1/32 tsp
Drop = 1/64 tsp

ETA - I am not good at dealing with the capsules at 4:15 am. :p
