Morning L & L,

Lots going on in L&L land...

Fritz slept most of the night. I really had to work to get him to eat.

I appreciate all the help from everyone!!!!! Could not do this FD dance without you!!!!

We all got a pat on the back from my vet yesterday she praised me for doing an excellent job at regulating Fritz I told her Fritz had an army of helpers!!!!!

He did eat an ounce of food with freeze dried salmon crushed on top. He can't smell the food, he keeps sticking his little nose closer and closer then he takes a bite....

Have a good day! Marje if you see this Passez un merveilleux so'iour on France.....

Poor guy. Glad he ended up eating something even if it was just a little bit.
It's always nice to hear when a vet gives props to one of us FD caregivers. Makes me feel like we're working together with the vets and our kitties will be getting the best care possible from all sides.
Sending healing vines as well :bighug:

Glad to hear he ate a little bit and sending more appy/ breathing vines and prayers. Did they say how he got that lung infection? I do know that coughing damages their lungs but not sure it can cause infection. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: for you Deb and :kiss: for Fritz.

No I kept asking her and all she would say is his lungs look real bad..... I've been scratching my head about to pull my hair out wondering how.

I am so thankful he is eating. He's been hiding on the side of the bed most of the day. He finally came out and is laying right by my side. I wonder if he picked up a virus from the holistic vet clinic? I know the oral pred lowers his immune system.

I'm nervous about this antibiotic I googled it and it said to give cautiously to cats. I'm not so sure about most of the traditional vets. I know they don't know everything but my goodness they should know as much or more:bookworm: than their clients.:banghead::arghh:.
Thanks for the hugs and Fritz meowed when I told him you had kisses for him....:cat:

That wouldn't leave me very happy either. Wish I had some words of wisdom for you but don't unfortunately. Hopefully you'll see significant improvement in the days coming :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh Fritz, I'd say something is feeling better but seriously don't need a 68 at PMPS. Hope stalling a bit helped and you're both not up all night

Well been up since 12:30 am +5 58 +5.5 71 I'll test at +6 and hopefully go back to bed. I'm going to reduce to 7.5 hopefully that will hold and this us the start downward.

Boy Deb, I know how frustrating that can be. When Flame started having his breathing difficulties, at first I couldn't get a straight answer... was it asthma? They kept calling it inflammatory bronchitis, but then they kept giving antibiotics on top of the steroids. After a while, my vet settled on a DX of asthma, but when we had his x-rays reviewed by a radiologist, they kept coming back saying some sort of inflammatory lung condition.
Seeing this with Fritz now, I wonder whether Flame didn't have some sort of infection that may have kept recurring. Guess I'll never know now.

:bighug::bighug::bighug: to you Deb and scritches to Fritz!!

I have a feeling he's had this infection brewing for some time now. Man I'm having the dickens of a time trying to keep up with all the low numbers. Mixed blessing you want low but this has been going on day and night for several days and I don't see an end to it. He's gone from 9 u yo 7.5 u and tonight another down to 7. I bet the infection has caused all this increase in doses. I am so sad that Flame is gone I know how much he meant to you. Only saving Grace is no more pain. When I watch Fritz struggle to breath I feel so sad. I'm ordering a treadmill for pets and once his infection us cleared up he's going to start walking on it.
