I think we may be on to something! *fingers crossed*. We had a great day yesterday! Blues & greens. :) Adjusting the dose as needed and we will see how this goes. Angel started Zobaline 2 days ago. I ended up getting pill pockets for her. Is it ok to give 1 a day? Or will they completely screw up her BG?

We found a gravy food that is less than 3% carbs that she is obsessed with! She literally gobbles up the small 3oz can in one sitting and then wants more. :) I caved yesterday. Lolol. Only bad thing is that they are 75cents each. Owell!

I use pill pockets for Squallie's appy stimulant, I just break off the smallest piece I can use to cover the pill, rather than give him a whole pill pocket each time. It has never had an effect oh his bg.

What gravy food did you find so low in carbs?!?! Squallie would go nuts for it! I found one in "sauce" that's low carb, he thinks he's getting contraband when I give it to him, lol!

This one! I only feed angel gravy ones since it's all she will eat. All of them are 10% or less and I've found a good variety! Let me know if you want me to make a list of the ones I give her and I'll do that after I get home from groceries. :)

Looking very nice, Angel and Cherish!
Would also be interested in that list :). Maury is not happy with his pate meals so is only eating, maybe half, and waiting to finish it with his yummier MC lunch portion. Sometimes adding the MC lunch trick doesn't work, he eats all the good stuff and leaves his pate still :confused::p

I use the same carb calculator, lol! I have been feeding the ProPlan True Nature because most of them are very low carb, but I'm going to check out the ones you've listed, as well. Thanks!

Thanks! You'll know if your kitty no longer needs insulin when you are down to giving teeny, tiny amounts and his numbers are staying in a normal, healthy range. You do a two week OTJ trial and if he stays good, he is officially in remission!
