At this link, you may request free control solution to check that your Relion Confirm meter is calibrated properly:

per their FAQ
"What is Confirm Control Solution for?

•Before testing with the ReliOn® Confirm blood glucose meter for the first time.
•When you open a new bottle of test strips.

•Whenever you suspect the meter or test strips may not be functioning properly.
•If test results appear to be abnormally high or low or are not consistent with clinical symptoms.
•The test strip bottle has been left open or has been exposed to temperatures below 34°F (1°C) or above 86°F (30°C), or humidity levels above 80%.
•To check your technique. "

After a control test do you have to do anything to get the ReliOn confirm meter back to regular blood glucose testing mode?
 
If you need Relion test control solution, call their customer service. The number should be in the manual that came with the meter. If you can't find it, post again and I'll look it up for you.

It did the same for me. Also Walmart needs to review their listing for the Ultra control solution. In the product description, it was describing Milk Bone dog chews. :eek:

I just called the ph # & only waited a minute to get through. I called at 1:00pm Hawaii Standard Time which would be 4:00pm Pacific or 6:00pm East Coast.

Thanks. I called and was on hold forever the first time, but got right thru the second time.
