What do I do? I am currently stalling w/ no food but I can't stall very long. I will be here until +2 and hubby will be here all day BUT - it is hubby and has little experience steering w/food - etc.

I hope someone is on board.

Ok, I had to make a decision. I sure hope it was the right one. I gave 0.75U. I will check at +1 and load up on carbs if necessary. ^^had 911 at first^^ Then checked and there was NO ONE else on line except for me :(.

One is the loneliest number. :D

We still do not have AC. Hubby is dealing with contractors, electricians and AC guys today (well, to be fair he dealt with them all day yesterday and it continues today). He spent the better part of all day yesterday trouble shooting.

So...

The official:
04/09 +11=70

04/10 AMPS=69

Reduced/BCS 0.75U

If I should go back to 1U tonight and wait until he "officially" earns the reduction, please let me know I did the best I could.

I don't/shouldn't be giving dosing advise - I am too new - LOLOLOL. :joyful:

Sorry no one was around to offer advice. Since he came close to earning a reduction last night, the 0.75 BCS is probably a good idea. Hopefully he will surf safely today. A lot of the time when you shoot a green number, they don't drop as low. If he is dropping lower at +1, you may need to call your DH to make sure he checks on Gizmo at certain times and doesn't forget because he is so busy with everything. I hope you get your AC fixed today.

It was worth a try. I just don't have much wiggle room with shot time. He has been close to reduction a couple of times and I didn't want to skip so I went with what I thought was best.

ETA - he also had no movement between the +11 and PS.

Hope you have a great day. :bighug:

You did fine this morning Lizzie and glad he's surfing. Personally, yes, I'd go back to 1u tonight. Today is the 7th cycle from the last reduction so the prior cycles had some depot influencing. With him spending the majority of time in green you want to keep that momentum going. Let him earn the next reduction...it's the best chance for remission. Back in the day Doodles earned reductions by staying green for 7 days...he'd flirt with low 50's but basically just surf.

Will do. Thanks a bunch Karen. :bighug: I agree. I want him to earn his reductions!

Still no AC. :banghead:

Gizmo hasn't eaten PS meal. :banghead:

I'm glad Gizmo stayed safe today. I hope he eats for you. If you don't have AC, the heat could be affecting his appy. I hope you get it working soon.

I think it has more with everything going on. Out of routine, noise, strange, new people and a whole lot of stubbornness. :banghead:

He did eventually eat his PS food about 30 min after shot and he is just now heading in to eat his +2.5 snack (about an hour after it turned). I think I may be feeding too frequently but I need the food to be there when I can't be. IDK. When his numbers are really low, he eats. He is getting use to the lower numbers so the food driven eating numbers are getting lower also. When he decides to eat he will finish it or finish 90%.

I am just a worry wart.

Electrician is on his way. AC guy was here this morning and AC checked out A.O.K.

I think the siding contractor put a nail through a main wire going to the unit. They swear they didn't. All I know is I need sleep and need it real bad. We do have a small window unit that is helping some.
