Good evening, L & LL,

We woke up to snow and cold this morning, but a lot of it is gone now. "They" say 60 degreess tomorrow.

Rusty woke us up with headbutts and kisses at 3 a.m. He never wakes us up in the middle of the night. I wonder if he had a bad dream. He has stuck pretty close to us today. What a cat! He ate some of the new Canidae chicken again today, but I didn't have the impression that he liked it. I won't send for a case just yet!
He pulled away from his shot tonight, but I think it got in. Weird day!

At the moment I am multi-tasking: watching the Mets game, listening to early Benny Goodman recordings on "Traditions in Swing" (a great Saturday evening radio program on WKCR in NYC hosted by the jazz guru, Phil Schaap), and checking out the board.
Hope you all are having a good weekend and that all your kitties are fine.

Middle of the night head butts are sweet, but I'd rather they occur a few hours later. He was probably glad you were home today.

I wish we would have 60 degrees tomorrow, though high 50's looks likely. Good race conditions.

Enjoy the jazzy game.

Hi Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Rusty, you are looking good! :D:D:D:cool: it is wonderful to see you in the lagoon. How are the new fuds working out for you? Nice on those headbutts and kitty kisses, but maybe a little later in the morning? ;)

Snow??? Wow on that, nice too on that 60. We had our first 60 degree day this past week, sure was nice. We are having however a very wet spring.... There is still lots of snow falling in the mountains. Guess winter isn't quite ready to leave us yet.

Nice on that multitasking. I swear I survive by using that technique. Your activity choices sound excellent too! Sounds like you are doing well. We are too. Boys are well, have been on spring break this past week. We have had all sorts of adventures, all the things Nicholas likes to do but doesn't have many chances to do now that he is a school kid. :joyful:. It's been a fun week.

Sounds like Rusty is doing great too. Kitties here are doing great, all three had their annual vetty check ups last weekend. They all did well, BW came back good. Vanessa's creatinine was down from last year, which was a huge relief. Other kidney values were in line, so she's holding her own. Bug needs a dental, so we are doing that in a couple of weeks. Vanessa also needs one ,but at 16 I am reluctant to put her under anesthesia, even with her BW being as decent as it was. Well, we shall see on that... The three of them are really enjoying their new catio, and spend alot if time in it. Lola is still Lola. I think she always will be. Things are good.

Hope you weekend is a good one. ENJOY!!

Have a winning regatta, Wendy. High 50s sounds pretty good! You wouldn't want it to be too warm.

@Michelle and Mannie (GA) : I'm so happy that you and the boys had a great week of school vacation. Gotta keep adventuring!
That's a good report on the kitties. The catio was certainly a wonderful idea.

Good night, everyone. Thanks for checking on Rusty. I'm pretty sure Rusty's evening shot got in, but it may have landed in a weird location. We'll know tomorrow. In any event. He ate all his dinner (the old standbys: Wellness Chicken and FF T&G).

Mets lost big time! They're not doing so well at the beginning of the season.

@Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA) Good Morning Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee: So agreed on that need to keep adventuring! I've been busy looking at new places to take them over the summer, have found a few good river spots, and am really looking forward to trying them out with them in tow. I sure hope so on the catio, so far it is a great success. I'm out and about so much these days that this way they can get out when I'm out and remain safe, and I don't have to wait for them to go in and out. A win-win! :cat::cool:

@carfurby Hi Carla :coffee::coffee::coffee: Many thanks! Me too on the kitties... it is always such a relief when their checkups come back great. Paws crossed on Bug's upcoming dental. :cat:
