That's a much better start today. :cool: Sounds like Rusty has quite a bit of space at the shelter, at least enough for a good footie match.:)
 
So even though I would have liked to see more blues, I'm not going to complain about yellows after all those reds and blacks! So how many cycles will I hold this dose before re-evaluating?

SLGS says 7 days or 14 cycles, unless he goes under 90 on your AT. However, since he's a recent DKA kitty, any sign of ketones could mean we change the plan. You should have a stable depot after 6 consecutive ycles so that will tell you how the dose is really doing.

Do you recommend I test for ketones no matter the number?
 
Yes, until DKA is further back in history, it's a safe practice to keep testing. Bobbie's Bubba was showing ketones in the 200's.
