Did you increase her dose a little bit tonight? I wonder if it's exactly the same as Lantus or a different kind of depot has to build. You probably need a new brand of patience pants. You did see a 127 for the AMPS on 3/27.
I wonder about that too....but nobody knows until we figure it out! It contains different "buffer" ingredients than Lantus though so it's possible I guess. Different blood chemistry acting different due to those ingredients. We have one other person trying it starting tomorrow that's been on Levemir....should help in figuring it out
Didn't really mean to, but the lines were pretty bad on the syringe and it "felt" like a little more than she's been getting....that's why I put what I did on the spreadsheet
Hi Chris, There are bound to be glitches, since there are sure to be differences between the two insulins. China's body has to adjust. I know that you are apprehensive. I surely would be. Ultimately, you will do what you think is best for China, because her well being is more important than anything else.
Yes, I think we're all going to be watching this unfold along with you, wondering with each little "blip" upwards, "is this it?". It does seem too early to draw any conclusions, but it's hard to resist over-interpreting! I'm glad she came right back down into her favorite spot in the lagoon last night, so far so good.
