Hi Everyone
I hope you are well..

We are ok- Getting ready to go to Hawaii for 3 weeks on Fri- Can't wait.. DH is going for 2. Having some problems with Trouble's numbers these last few days.. He was doing great on .05.. and then when we had our housesitter over to show him how to give 1 drop (figured it was easiest for him to measure- and didn't want to confuse him by doing two different doses)- His numbers have risen.. Still lowish blues.. but not the greens they were.

He did also have a skipped shot on March 27 (DH forgot to give it to him, but wasn't 100% sure) his numbers were fine after that.

The house sitter came on March 30.

So... not sure what we should do.. he is on .05 for now.. Do we raise it and then lower it again on Fri? Do we have the housesitter come over and show him how to measure a lower dose? A little nervous about this as it means more testing for him and monitoring in case Trouble does drop? Do we wait it out and stay at the .05?

Sorry for so many questions.... I can post the numbers in the subject if it helps, but won't get to it til this afternoon.. Busy with clients til 4-5 pm.

Thanks so much everyone!

Without many PM tests, it's hard to say exactly what 0.05 units is doing. Regardless, three weeks is a long time and I would tend to the conservative for dosing. Trouble will still be in good numbers with just a drop. If he trends up, and you are getting enough mid cycle testing done to know that's what's happening, maybe the petsitter could increase to two drops. I just not sure how consistent the petsitter would be drawing that dose, whereas it's easier to do the 1 drop dose.

Yes- I know- and DH is home after 2 weeks.. So it would be 15 days at 1 drop.. then DH could increase...
He was just doing so well.. and hate to mess it up.. But really don't want to stress our housesitter out either or be stressed with him measuring such a small dose.. Do you think that it would be worth taking him up to .10 for the next 3 days (starting tomorrow am cycle) just to get him a little more in the green- then drop to a drop on Fri am when we leave? Will try to get a PM test tonight....

Thanks @Wendy&Neko for your help.. Hope you got to enjoy the sun today.. Spring is so slow coming this year- at least our daffodils are out:)

I'm jealous; Hawaii is beautiful. I hope you have a fantastic trip!

No dosage advice from me but bumping up for more eyes on your question. :)

Thanks @Shelly & Jersey ! We are really looking forward to our time away 3 weeks on the Big Island, we go every year the past 4 years to meet up with my parents and sister and her family.. So beautiful there- the water is just incredible- we are scuba divers so love it! And have been blessed to swim with dolphins in the wild - just off the shore every year- its amazing!

You could go up to 0.1 units for a couple of days - get him used to greener numbers for a bit.

Enjoy the holiday. It sounds fabulous. I've only been on the big island once, so much to do there.

We will do for the next 6 doses- .10 here we come!

And then Hawaii- Still haven't booked my return flight- maybe I will stay longer (I wish)- but flight prices are really high right now- hoping they drop soon. Big Island is wonderful- I loved Kauai too- Still would like to see Maui- one day!

Thanks for all your help Wendy :)
