Jones is doing well. Wish I could of gotten some more tests in today, but had my own dental appointment and errands to do today. We were at the vet with his civvie sister on Thursday - still waiting for her BW to come back but this little CKD is holding her own 7 years post diagnoses so I hope there is no surprises.

We did discuss Jones BW again (have to ask for a copy again so I can update my spreadsheet) and the Dr. said he was no longer diabetic and indicated I could stop the insulin, however the pred still really plays with his BG. So she finally agreed to the budesonide vs. the prednisolone. She also agreed to order in some cyproheptadine so I can try it over the mirtz. We still the IBD to take care of. That said his appetite has been really good the last 4 days which is nice. Picked up some wild boar to make up some cooked food for him to try tomorrow. Dr. is dead set against raw, so we compromised...for now:p.

Technically on SLGS you could try that drop and see how it goes. I am so glad the vet adpgreed to budesonide. I hope that makes all the difference to Jones. Cypro you can get from a people pharmacy if she gives you a script.

I agreed to disagree with my vet on raw too. Interestingly Neko's acupuncture vet (more holistic approach) and internal medicine vet (trained in Europe) were supportive of raw, so the regular vet got outvoted. :p

Paws crossed for the civvie's blood work results.

try that drop and see how it goes
Depending the syringe - he is only get 1 to 2 drops at the most right now. I am leaving for 4 days for a friends wedding next weekend so it would be nice to not have to worry as I know he will not be getting the testing needed.

I am hoping by getting rid of that last bit of pred we can OTJ. His dental is booked for the end of April,

Sending prayers.
Thank you!
