We get a blue number this morning. Interesting.... Chase doesn't feel good. Can that make a cat get a higher number? Or am I just trying to explain away a blue number when he's had all green for the past few days.

I HAVE TO LEAVE AND CHASE ISN'T REALLY EATING. WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU HAVE GIVEN INSULIN AND THEY ONLY EAT A FEW BITES? I AM LEAVING HIS REGULAR LC MEAL DOWN IN THE FEEDER. WOULD ANYONE LEAVE MC DOWN? HIS NUMBER IS 110 THIS AM, WHICH IS HIGH FOR HIM, CONSIDERING THE PAST FEW DAYS.

I'll be back at 10. He's not really touching his food. But he did eat about 2 .5 tsp.

Yes if he isn't feeling well it could affect his number but 110 isn't much higher than he's been. Is he pooping/peeing ok? Any vomiting?

Just saw the subject line. If he were mine and I was able and available to test and had supplies, I'd shoot and feed some MC food. I can't promise you he won't go lower but you know how to deal with low numbers and if he drops below 50....well then he's ready for a trial.

I would handle his low numbers as you normally do so that we know if he does drop below 50, he's really ready.

He's fine, now... even at his PMPS of 54. He got his drop dose and I gave him some MC food. He's chasing his mouse around and I had him playing with his string on a stick.

A nice, slow drop...pretty flat. I hope it continues. I do think I'd do a +3 considering how he likes to drop.
