Absolutely! I have been working from home until at least +4. I have to go in for a meeting this afternoon but so far this has worked for us.

He ate his +2.5 LC 30 min ago - what should I do with this number? He will obviously go below 50 this morning if I let him. Should I give him a little MC right now?
 
Eeek!

Not the most experienced on food-steering, so wait for the pros if you can, but if it were me and I had to leave for work in an hour, I'd go ahead and break out the MC. I might even go higher-- partly because I'm a big chicken, and partly because I'm looking at 3/23, when you broke out the MC at a similar time/number and he still went below 50, even with a lot of additional steering.

He gets the regular Wellness Chicken (not Core) for the stuff I freeze. I buy the 12.5oz cans for this. For some reason, the small cans look different (the actual food) than the big one. Its weird. Neither cat likes the Wellness from the 3oz or 5.5oz cans.

I also use the Wellness pouches as a MC. (The minced kind.) He loves that.

I think the Chicken is too high in phosphorus (I will check). What do you mean "freeze" it?

I use the pouches for MC too (along with Cat in the Kitchen) - or I just add HC (FF gravy) to his LC snacks.

I use the 12.5oz cans, mix some water in it, and fill up a mini-cupcake container with it and freeze. :) I use them for the +8 snack I put in the autofeeder. Usually thaws out after 4 hours but stays cold for longer and the added water gives me extra water.

(I use the mini-cupcake containers for the 2-bite ones in the grocery store LOL. Provides some cover from freezer burn, plastic is pliable for popping the pieces out and you don't have to use nice bakeware ;) )

Gordy must be a US patriot. The larger cans are made in the US. Neko preferred rhe 3.0 oz cans (made in the Canadian plant). :) And that's why the texture is different. Wellness Turkey is just on the edge of being OK for phosphorus.

Thank you for informing me of this! LOL. It really confused me when I bought fhd smaller cans when I didnt have time to go get FF (we sell them at Whole Foods)
