Hi everyone,
I thought I would check in and say hi! Trouble has been back ON TJ for 8 days.. and he is hanging steady- a few blues- not sure if they are bounces from missed lows or just wonkiness..

Don't feel that he needs an increase.. and in the question if we should be testing at different times...
He's doing great overall.

We go away on April 7 and he will be with a housesitter for 2 weeks- will check in about dosing the week before we go.. He is on .10 now-or 3 drops.. and not sure if we should take him down to 1 drop just to be safe (and make it easy for the housesitter)- guess we will just wait and see what happens!

I hope everyone is well- Vines to all in need.

I would like to check in more- but life is busy and the less time I can be on the computer outside of work- the better :) I think of you all every day!

Hi Asrael.

It's nice to hear that Trouble isn't living up to his name (that is NOT a challenge, BTW!). ;)

Do you feel confident that your sitter will be able to draw up such a teeny dose consistently? Will there be any monitoring during the cycle? Perhaps someone could make a special effort to get back on a trial by then (hint, hint), so he doesn't have to get shots at all - just sayin', dude - less pokes!

I would LOVE it if he could be on trial by then- but not sure his numbers are looking that good yet...

That's why I was thinking 1 drop (where he doesn't have to measure) but can just push the syringe in and let it draw back.. We are going to ask him to moniter PS's and if he is comfortable a + 3 or +4 once a day... He is hopefully coming over this next week so we can go over it all.. He was in remission when we got him to housesit (but we did tell him he may not stay there)- still not sure how comfortable he is going to be with it all... He's an older man early 60's and good friends with our regular housesitter who IS comfortable with diabetic cats, so he can call her if he's not sure about something.

Best case would be another trial.. but I don't know if its looking like it!

Hope you are well @Tricia Cinco(GA) & Harvey

We will just have to start bombarding Trouble with "get off the juice" vines!!! Sending his first batch now.

Thanks, I am doing okay. Crazy times at my house - major remodel project and PC is disconnected for several days. Hard to keep up with the Board right now with so much going on and having to use phone or tablet - I'm old school (or just old) and prefer the PC.

Hope the reno's go well! I bet it will be nice when its done.. But I totally can sympathize with how it feels to have everything uprooted.. and I would have no idea how to access the board on a tablet or phone (I don't even have a cell phone))!

It's definitely a challenge. I have a lot of trouble trying to highlight portions of posts to reply and end up replying to the entire posts, which can get confusing. I also can't access my saved cheering kitties for trials. But I can do the basics. I will lose WiFi next week when they get to the upstairs, where the server and router are. That will totally stink! We're getting wood floors throughout and painting everything, since we have to empty the rooms for the floors. I keep telling myself how nice it will all look when it's done. It was time - 18 year old carpet that went through seven cats, the past few years with lots of accidents. Want it all fresh before we get more kitties.

Thanks everyone:) We decided to take him down a drop today to just see (Meausring .10) and then reducing a drop by squeezing it out of the syringe.. His numbers aren't calling for it. +3 last night was.... 160 ?!?!?!?

But wondering if we are missing some lower ones- or the higher numbers are because of too high a dose... we can take him right up if things shift-

His AMPS today was 77.

This way if he does stay good and green we can then take it to the 1 drop for the house sitter or try a trial! Paws crossed!
