I started a new vial. WOW. Even with extra food, (her & her brother are food monsters today), her numbers are resonable. The new vial did make a difference - I was wondering if that's why she was hovering in the 250's.

Do I dare go down to 3.25 tonight at 8?

@Chris & China - She is doing Tight regulation. Here is the previous post: http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/dose-advice-does-mouse-need-an-increase.174868/

I agree with Chris, hold the dose for tonight. She hasn't gone below 50 yet. But you might want to put a pot of coffee on. :coffee: Or maybe not, on the 15th her AM cycle looked similar and she went up to yellow. If Mouse doesn't show any green tonight, I actually think she's due for an increase up to 3.75 units. Been too long since you've seen green.

Finally....seeing green again. But, it's 64. I think she's trying to get lower numbers, maybe the older vial, (which we used to the last drop), wasn't consistent in the potency.
for tonight, I have a auto feeder, carousel style, that I can use if I kick the other cat out into the hallway & my knit workshop. That way, if she goes low & gets hungry, she'll be the one with access to the food.
I have a second feeder, but it has only one dish that opens up for only her. Surefeed pet feeder.(recognizes a chip) Only problem is, whatever food I put in the dish, she'll eat it all up in one sitting. Wish they made a carousel one that only recognizes one cat.
