Yesterday

What a day this has been! We forgot to re-set our alarm and so slept an extra hour (to the "old" time), so poor Rusty got his AMPS and shot an hour late. His appetite has been less than stellar and he has been visiting the sharks today. After several numbers under 50 on this dose I decided to take 1/2 drop off his dose this evening. We'll see. Maybe this will be his new dose. BUT, on Thursday we have to start using the Monoject syringes since the Terumos have come to an end. So who knows how well--or poorly--I'll be able to translate Rusty's dose.

So, behind the 8 ball all day and I have spent the day doing the horrible task of notifying every institution I deal with of my new e-mail address (Verizon is no longer doing e mail as of next month, so moving to another e mail provider is necessary--BUMMER).. This requires multiple steps--confirmation numbers, etc, e mails back and forth, every institution has a different process. Who knew?

And, the big snowstorm is on the way and we are supposed to get lots of snow (but not as much as the coastal areas). They have even named this storm: Stella!

Gotta go downstairs and sit with Rusty, who has been very patient today.

Hope all is well with all of you. I probably won't be back on the board tonight. My eyes are too tired to spend more time on the computer!

Ugh, sounds like a night to snuggle with the kitty and do something mindless. You aren't the only one who slept in this morning! Darn standard time change. Eat yer fuds Rusty - they repel sharks.

Good luck with the dosing. Thank goodness I never had to change syringes. Mind you, BD has a monopoly here.

I hate the thought of changing an email address.

going to look in the am at the blocked closet....

i just have to figure out where i tucked them....
so I can send them to you. I'm pretty sure I still have a partial box or a whole box.... in case I ever had to give a shot again.....

Ella- hope the email switch over goes smoothly! I know it's a pain! Totally get the loss of the hour with DLS time. It is by far hands down my least favorite day of the year!!

I wish luck with the email change. I remember going through similar string of events when we changed ours several years ago. I can only imagine how much worse it is now.

Good luck with the incoming storm. Have you been spared? I have heard some have a couple of feet of snow.

Bummer on the Terumos. I know how much you liked them. I used monojets all the time. They did have a few problems, but I learned how to deal with that. Maybe with the calipers you'll be ok.

Rusty, surf well today. I hope your recent dose adjustment is to your liking. Nice to see those greens!

I have heard some have a couple of feet of snow.

We have at least 2 1/2 feet tonight and it's supposed to keep snowing well into tomorrow afternoon. Our stoop is buried.
