Hellow girls.

AS you can see in our ss, markis started showing better numbers, blues, yellows and pinks, now reds (only the cycle when we started on that new dose).

But now Markies started to vomit right after eating, something that it was a long time he doesn´t do. He is a cat that uses to vomit very frequently right after eating, almost as if food wasn´t processed. I taled that with a behavior specialist, she said that wa have to find out a way to slow try to make his meal slower, by putting things in different spaces, etc..

So I will have to give less ammounts and start doing those things, at least, in the mornings that is mostly when he vomist, give less ammounts. Some days ago I read that in the morning there is acid that the cats build in their body and that they need to eat something to process that acid if not they will vomit it.

Well, he vomits anyway, I have to be carefull with amounts and also help him with giving things little by little. I don´t things so far he has any upset stomach but may be do you think I can give any antiacid or it´s unnecesary?

Hey - I like that blue number! :) Looking good Markies. Blue suits you much better than red!

Silvi, I don't know if you can get famotidine where you are, but if you can, 1/4 of a 10 mg pill of famotidine at night can really help to stop excess acid building overnight while a cat isn't eating.

My kitty Ginger eats too fast sometimes and vomits all her food immediately afterwards and then asks for more o_O Is that what Markie is doing?
I find that if I give Ginger 1/2 her meal and smash it down with the back of a spoon until it's flat in her bowl and let her eat that and then wait about 45 minutes and repeat to give her the other 1/2 of her meal, she doesn't what we call "scarf and barf" as much.

exactly that´s what Markies does!!!
It´s funny because Markies diet name calls BARF (Biologically Apropriate Raw Food). Is a registered diet when I talked about this in the forum everybody was surprised because in English barf manse vomit... lol.. I didn´t know that.

Well.. yes.. I need to smash it or just divide it. But today he vomited a brown stuff not after food, since I didn´t even fed him after shooting. I wanted to wait a little until numbers come down at least one hour and he vomited during that hour. I took a picture, it was dark brown. It contained some hair but the color didn´t look good.

Now this vomit issue starts to worry me a little.

Sorry for the picture that looks yuky.

I don´t see my previous answer to your previous message. I do still have some famotidine. I will give him 1/4 before going to bed today hoping helps with acid when we wake up.

I didn't have a scarfer.... but when she had teeth removed.....
i actually took a knife and made little separated lumps on a full size plate..... spread out.....
maybe that would help if she had to move around.... slow her down a little......
