Considering you are using the AlphaTrak (oh, how I miss that one) Teasel's numbers are really terrific !!
I agree, Carol! I had a lot of AT strips in my stash and I didn't see a reason not to use them. I don't find it a problem to have the AT frame of reference in my head when judging a BG and/or making a dose decision.

Good morning:bighug:....Ozarks contingent reporting in :);):woot:.....Happy Tuesday to you ,Kris, and all your critters, great and small :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:up in the Cold White(?) North :);)

Ah, guess this is the price for the lovely blues last night (wonder if he hit a little green, too?). Don't soar too high today Teasel, come down soon!

how is Menace and eating wet food
OT. Sorry for the hijack Kris.

Menace is giving me her own form of drama. We are still holding food standoffs and I'm sure I half starved her yesterday. I was regaled with hours of crying meows/howls despite there being a bowl of wet food available if she cared to partake. By last night, I really wondered if I was going to survive the drama and vocalizing. I felt like I was torturing her albeit for her own good. Then she had me up half the night because she was down to 84 at +4. At that point I gave in and gave her a tiny bit of kibble which she happily gobbled up but then proceeded to howl again for more! I gave her the kibble in the hopes I could get some sleep but THAT was not to be for another two hours. Of course by then we had bounced up to 251! This morning I had to ply her with a few bits of kibble for her shot but then she reluctantly ate her FF without a pile of histrionics of burying the bowl, scratching the wall and howling and she ate her wet snack without incident! This is like dealing with a kid who wants dessert but won't eat their veggies! I'm getting too old for this crap! Time for a nap before I tackle the snow! :woot:

Great story!! Frustrating for you though ... o_O. How do these little critters who don't speak our language manage to convey their ideas so clearly?!
