Good Morning L&LL,

Morning came early and it was still night when we got up in "Daylight Savings Time". We winged it cold turkey and decided that Rusty would adjust without incremental shifts in his shot times.
We all snuggled in our quilts last night, as the temperature went down to -10 degrees F. Today is a cold and sunny day. A major coastal storm is on the way, but I doubt that we'll see much snow from it: we are too far north and inland.

Rusty is lounging in the sunshine in his perch above the radiator. He ate pretty well so far this morning (but didn't eat any of his nighttime fuds because he was sleeping and it was too cold to get up and eat!). All is well here.

Chef Rusty has posted his menu for the Full Worm Moon party. He asked Vanessa, Lola and Bug to host the party in Mannie's Tree House (@Michelle and Mannie (GA). See the separate Party Condo!

Wishing everyone a good day and sending healing vines to all in need.

Ella & Rusty

p.s. Verizon has decided it will no longer offer e mail (!), so I am busy changing my e mail account (to GMail) and dealing with a multitude of related issues. I don't need this right now, since I will run out of Terumo syringes on Thursday (I got a week's extension because I found a small stash of them in the cupboard of our NYC apt). Monojects have problems, but at least I am familiar with them and can--maybe--deal with them.

I hate the time changes! It's been messing with our tests/shots/foods for the last 3 days and it definitely messes with my sleep/wake cycle
Nice AMPS for Rusty and I'm sure he'll be in the lagoon soon.
Have a good day Ella!

I don't blame Rusty for not getting out of a warm bed to eat! Good luck with the time change.

Perfect weather for worms here! (rain ) Hope you stay warm in the storm.

ETA: Off to visit Anne at the wheelchair rugby shortly.

Rusty! DUDE! You are ON! WooHOO! A Full Moon party in Mannie's treehouse! SWEET! We can use ther catio too. All is ready! Lola, Vanessa, and Bug

Hi Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Nice on you adjustment to DST. We never really had any issues with Mannie either, I rarely took more than one 30 minute shift. He just went with the flow, sure made it easier.

WHOA on the temps! Another storm is due huh? Safe warm and stay safe. I can't begin to imagine what -10 feels like.

Oh my on your email thing. That is unfortunate. It is difficult to switch all to a new one. SO many things are tied to the previous one., at least mine are. Hope the switch goes well for you.

And Rusty.... I am with Wendy... you need water wings today? Up just a smudge from that 46 OK? Sure well today, and eat your fuds. :cat:

I am glad all is well there. It is here too. Boys are doing great. Last Friday we took a train ride adventure, traveling on 4 different trains from home here to the airport. Sure was fun. Both Nicholas and William loved it, loved the nice lunch we had in a very nice hotel down by the airport. They are still in the pool, loving that too. Nicholas leveled up a skill level in his lessons, is now in a class that fine tunes strokes, and has the kids swimming laps at lot of the time. Both he and William are doing very well. School is great for them both. We are so looking forward to warmer temps this spring so we can get out on some longer outdoor adventures. as am I. Soon, maybe next month we will venture over to Eastern Washington for some hiking, once the mountain passes clear of the consistent snowfall there.

Have a great rest of your weekend!

I'm glad the boys are doing well. How exciting that Nicholas moved up a skill level with his swimming. The train ride sounds like fun.

Whoa Rusty, that was a crazy little drop there at +6. Glad you decided to come back up on the beach and hang out in the safe zone.

Sorry to hear about your email issues, Ella. That would drive me nuts too!

Yo Rusty!!! Nice to see you back on duty today!! Da lagoon always loves when it's Meister is around, but I gets yelled at for inspecting da sharks nets dat close so you shouldn't do it either!

You looks so much better now dat you is home again....now keeps your beans warm during da storm!!

Ella - where did you see that Verizon is no longer offering email? I mentioned it to DH last night and he's looking into it because my Mom uses Verizon, but he can't find any info about it other than if you don't use it for 180 days it will be deactivated:
Verizon Deactivation after 180 days

Thanks for any info you have on it!

They have been notifying us with a pop-up for about a month now. We have until 4 April to accept their offer to move our e-mail address (which will remain the same verizon.net address) to AOL and have it administered by AOL, or choose another e-mail program. In any event, Verizon will continue it's other Internet services, just not e mail. This is so frustrating. Here is a link (I hope it works):

Good luck! I have spent all day changing my e mail address with every institution I deal with.

Ahhh man, what a pain! My hubby has Verizon email. We are in California. Wonder if they are discontinuing email service here too.

EDIT: Hubby just told me they changed us over to AOL a long time ago. I don't have Verizon email; he does. Hubby said folks can still email you at your Verizon email but you have to switch to AOL- it will just forward to your AOL account. Or something like that. Still a pain! Sorry Ella. Good luck with the switch!

Thanks for the info. Since you still can use the verizon.net email, this is probably a non-issue with my Mom, since she literally only uses email to send info to me, my brother, my aunt, and my uncle. I tell ya, the last thing I need at this point is email confusion with/for her...
