Our hearts go out to Donna today. Handsome, brave Flame is flying free.
Rusty had another good night. He ate quite a bit of his food and didn't sneeze until his usual "wake-up" sneeze. His breathing was good. I'm really glad we didn't start on 14 days of A/Bs. This morning he ate all of his breakfast, enjoyed a combing/brushing, and spent most of the morning in his perch over the radiator. It is really cold here: 5 degrees this morning and tomorrow morning is supposed to be below zero F. I had to check the car's oil and tire pressure today in preparation for our trip to the city on Sunday and really froze my hands.
Tonight our group is having a pizza and games night. The host is a terrific pizza chef. There will be lots of games brought along to play, but some will just enjoy sitting and talking. I'm bringing Mexican Train Dominoes. A favorite that Edward and I will both enjoy playing is a Canadian game called Krokinole (sp?). It's kind of like curling, but on a game board. The hosts have a hand-made game board. There will also be Bananagrams, Pears Pairs, Takaradi, maybe even Monopoly. Looking forward to this fun evening. I'll be a little late for the happy hour because of Rusty's evening shot; he will get it 1/2 hour early, since our friends live about 1/2 hour away. Edward will get a ride with friends and won't miss any of the festivities.
Wishing everyone a fine weekend. Sending vines to all in need,
