He still hasn't pooped and I haven't seen him pee. there are 2 pee balls in the LB but I think they're from earlier. He got fluids today and has been drinking a lot because of the steroids, but not really going to the LB. Only thing I can think of is that he was so dehydrated that his body is just soaking it up. Praying he's not blocked or so constipated he can't go. That is the very last thing he needs right now.

Kinda worried here.... he should at least be peeing I think.

Dunno if you want to pursue this, but impacted fecal matter can cause the intestines to press down and disable his ability to pee by blocking the opening from the bladder to the outside. It did happen to TiTi , and she almost died from it. A manual evacuation relasedthe pee and the feces, and TiTi made an immediate recovery. By the way , a creatinie of 2.8 is not at all bad.

Hi Kathy,
He's peeing now but haven't seen any poop yet. He's a funny guy. I have 3 LB's - one recently put upstairs, one on the landing going down to the basement and one at the bottom of the stairs in the basement. He usually only poops in the one at the bottom of the stairs in the basement. I am debating bringing that box up here as maybe his energy level isn't enough to climb the stairs. I figure it's worth a shot.

Thanks for getting back to me on this....

You're very welcome. I wonder if Flame might need some medical intervention to clear out his colon? Well, then who knows. Just thought I'd mention it.

Purrs and hugs for both of you, while you get thru' this very trying time.:bighug::bighug::bighug:
