3/1 Ozzy AMPS 295

Yesterday

We monitored till +7 last night and woke up to an almost pink PS. Hubby double dosed Ozzy yesterday (see yesterday's condo).

I am not sure what to do? Give insulin? Skip and drain the depot? Last time this happened, Ozzy just stayed high after for several days.

We are going to go ahead with a .5U dose. Not able to monitor but don't want to skip again. Geez, this sucks. Smaller dose I think might be ok.

Wish us luck... and really wish Ozzy luck since both his parents are going to ditch him after giving him insulin after a double dose last night. Dang jobs!

I'm glad Ozzy stayed safe last night. I hope he continues surfing safely today. The reduced dose should help keep him safe. Sending prayers.

As much as I am very, very grateful to have one - I concur

Hopefully you can get back to a good schedule to carry Ozzy into the weekend so you can see where he is at dosing wise. I sympathize - I panicked a couple of weeks ago and skipped and reduced a shot and it seems I can't get Gizmo back down now.

I have been MIA on the board last 2 days. So busy at work. Wierd thing happened as we got busier....we stressed less over Ozzy, tested him less frequently (no ability to monitor at all during day cycle, few spot checks on pm cycles) and fortunately Ozzy survived in one piece the whole time.

I really have no clue where Ozzy has gone on this dose, if his higher numbers are due to bouncing or needing an increase dose or what!? But I was suprised to come home to a preshot number in the 140s tonight and thankful that we can monitor him this weekend. So we will see....

Other than the obnoxious unfortunate hot spots he has been working on and not knowing how he is cycling on insulin, he is doing great!

Will be updating SS when I can and will post a new condo.

Hey Jo, glad to hear from you and that all is well. Most glad that there is less stress over Ozzy. Hovering wears me out Happy Weekend
