Pmps 2/27 +1 242 +2 252 this am +10 411. Holy moly, did not see any puke, and she ate half the fud popsicle left for her. She knows there is seb in it.

She could have dropped down to some blue last night and is bouncing this morning. I hope she comes back down slowly today and doesn't bounce again.

Amps 319 thank goodness. Will try 2.5 hours before feeding today to see if makes a difference. If I am understanding you guys right is it worse (use that term lightly) to feed earlier in cycle than later?

If you feed later in the cycle after nadir, it can make her numbers zoom up because they are already heading up a little bit. Earlier is better.

That's backwards. I always tried to stop feeding by +6.

What happens if i have to leave out a frozen foodcicle and she eats it later? I have to leave food out for the pancreantitis.

I just looked at the blood tests. What was the urine USG? The HCT is a low which can be a sign of anemia. The kidney numbers are really good though so I wonder if this was a fluke. It can also occur from IBD/lymphoma.

The pancreatitis trumps not feeding. I'd leave a small amount out. They do need to eat small amounts often with pancreatitis. Don't worry about it if he has a higher pretest than you would like.

The vet said it might be lymphoma but without more tests ultrsound, biopsies, we wouldn't know for sure. Can not afford those tests so she is treating what we can see. to keep her comfortable.

I saw it all but you left out the USG. They have to have it because everything is there. That number tells if he is concentrating his urine well. It's included with every urinalysis.
I may have missed it that is why I uploaded the paperwork they sent me. is it shown as USG?

Hi Angela--

I don't have enough general knowledge to read the bloodwork, sorry. I've also been thinking about the food timing issue, and I think I agree with Tiffmaxee about the pancreatitis concerns trumping BG numbers. You don't want to trigger another flare. The BG numbers will react to what is going on elsewhere in the body. For now I think I'd just note when you are feeding and what the results are so you can observe patterns, maybe try some small adjustments to schedule to see what happens but I wouldn't do anything radical.

Is there someone who coul add a space in my ss to put what and when i feed and how much? I have no knowledge of these ss

B complex is different. It's all the B's and can help with low HCT. Many use Jarrow's B Rite.

You can put what younfeed in the BG box or in notes.

I agree pancreatitis trumps not feeding after nadir. If you are able, maybe you can just feed LC after nadir. You can make notes in the comments section about feeding.

I agree, I wouldn't go any longer than every 3 hours for feeding right now and not worry about feeding after nadir.

What a fighter bubba is. Did he mind wearing the patch over his eye? Or is that photoshopped? I got freeze dried chicken for a shot snack. It's called Purebites? It says 2 carbs. I have to mix with a little water, she kinda gags on it otherwise. 2 hours she gets really restless, and follows me everywhere instead of napping. :(

Or is that photoshopped
Yeah it's photoshopped thx to my son. :cat:

Purebites are a good snack for her. I think if you are giving her just one little nugget as a shot and poke treat, it will be much less than 2 carbs. That number is for a serving much larger.

If you can redistribute her calories a day every 3 hours and she is fine with it, it would be good to see what that does to her numbers. If she is too agitated and needs to eat every 2, so be it. You know her best.

That's a great photo shop. Lol sorry just found the link for healthy snacks. Took me a bit. But finally ty. There is so much info I truly shouldn't have to bother anyone with questions. I might get a few different ones maybe she will go longer. I am determined now to find a way. :)

Never apologize to ask questions. We try and help one other. :cat::):bighug:

Another option for some food later in the cycle (say at +9) might be to try some poached chicken breast, that should get some food in her tummy and shouldn't impact her BG.
