Thanks, Beth! Not sure I'd call myself the Queen of Calm but when it comes to things like this I've learned to just take it as it comes. Let the universe unfold and all that ... ;)

Oh Teasel, you continue to bounce even though you know Momma does not like it! I hope he clears it faster than the last bounce.

Just out of curiosity, what is the carb count of his food and how often are you feeding?
 
I knew there was something on the east coast making kitties go up and down,
must be the cold water of the Atlantic ! As soon as they touch the water they
run away from it !

Hope you'll eventually get the ''perfect'' dose for a walk down the beach !

He eats a roughly 65:35 mix of Purina Pro Plan DM (5.7% carbs according to the product info sheet at vet's office) and Friskies or Fancy Feast pates with the DM being the bigger portion. He's not a particularly carb sensitive cat based on the reaction I've had in the past when I used some gravy food to steer.

He's fed a larger breakfast, small lunch, larger supper and then a small bedtime snack. I have three cats who are fed on the same strict schedule in three separate rooms. Teasel's sister has to be on a hypoallergenic diet and his brother needs portion control to keep his weight down. Timed feeders aren't a good option for me.

His PMPS is down from +7 so I think the bounce is starting to clear. Will get a +2 this evening and go from there.

Kris- i feel your pain and frustration. Ozzy is a bouncer too. Sometimes things are going good (been a LONG time since we felt that way) and most times I feel like we have no idea what we are doing. This dance is not the most fun. But we have to keep plugging along. "Patience" they say, right??!
