The 391 COULD be food influenced. He isnt eating with his normal gusto because he is a scardy cat. I hope he gets over this stage of his shock soon. I am worried about giving him insulin and then him not eating at all. =/

Meanwhile, Rex is just taken to the place like she has lived here forever.

(Gordy is also hissing at Rex too. He needs to relax.)

Poor Gordy....hope he settles down soon. My two monsters hissed at each other for 2 days when we last moved....silly cats.

I hope so too. =(

He has been apprehensive about eating his wet food but DEVOURED the Evo, so he is not nauseous. Maybe he suddenly doesnt like the FF flavor? Either way, I'd rather get consistent food in him then follow protocol for the next few days.

Hopefully he slides down soon. And in a safe way =/

Hey Cass, a new environment is stressful for a lot of cats. Can you get some Rescue Remedy from a Health Food store and put it in the water. It will help both cats because Rex is going to get stressed being hissed at, LOL. Or get some Feliway spray and spray it where Gordy hangs out and sleeps. It will help to relax him and take the edge off. Also, cat nip makes my cats mellow.

Hope everyone settles in to your new place soon.

Smart decision to get food in even if it is dry. Eating is important.

Woah. PMPS was 90/84. He must have gone pretty low today =/ skipped shot.

I have a feliway plug somewhere... just gotta get some of the inserts. I have tried all the calming stuff in the vet for vet visits and such, and they dont seem to work on him.

Thanks!!!!

Not sure why you skipped. One option would have been to wait 1/2 hour without feeding and see if he would come up to a number you are more comfortable shooting. Those were shootable numbers though.

A note on the spreadsheet (besides the fact that I can't see today's data, ahem! ;)). When you do a test on the half hour, instead of putting the test across two cells, it's better if you just put it in the one cell. For example, on 2/22, you had a 271 at +4.5. Put 271@4.5 in the +4 cell. That way you can manually colour the cell yellow with the paintbrush tool. Some of us are colour focussed and it'll help when we look a the spreadsheets. Don't bother going back and changing, just going forward. Thanks!

Good luck with the unpacking.

I couldn't stay home and monitor him at all last night so I didn't feel comfortable shooting.

I actually do the single cell thing now.... its a pain to use the paint function on my phone, so I usually wait to do it when I am on a computer. :)
