Hi L&LL,
Rusty is having an off day. His appetite isn't the greatest today, but I did finally get him to eat some Wellness Chicken. I tried him on a new food (WholeFoods Market store brand: Whole Paws Chicken, Turkey, and giblets). It looked and smelled good and has good ingredients and is high in calories, but Rusty wouldn't even try it. I bought 4 small cans the last time we were in NYC to try. I guess I won't buy any more. But then today he wouldn't even eat his Newman's turkey & liver, which he usually likes. I guess it's a Wellness Chicken day. Hopefully he'll perk up this evening. I tell him that he can't just eat freeze-dried chicken treats!

Weather is a bust: a sunny, warm day. All of our fabulous snow is melting. The streets are a mess. The next few days are to be the same. Bummer, since we're supposed to do a 10-mile x-c ski on Monday at Great Camp Santanoni (now owned by the State of NY). This is a great outing and I hope the warm weather doesn't spoil it.

Wishing everyone a fine holiday weekend (in the US).

Tons of appy vines on their way for Rusty. And maybe a few "less picky" ones too.

I hope your weather improves the way you want it to. First day back on the water here, no rain and flat water.

Lucky you! It must have been wonderful to be rowing again after several months. What's happening with the oil tankers? Has that issue been resolved?
Sorry about the quickly disappearing snow. :(
Not as sorry as we are! How's your music course going? C.W. is a friend of ours. His Music I text book is highly regarded (as, of course, is his scholarly work).

The stupid federal government approved the project. And so did the provincial government. So not a fan of them. But let's just say the opposition is not taking this lying down. One of the native communities that lives across from the tanker terminal (and near where we row) will be taking this one to court.

And we have all the pipeline issues again. So much to protest! So much to resist!

The class is fun. I thought that you must know Craig. I wish I could hear his analysis for the music in every concert we go to. I am trying to decide if I want to get his book or not. It's not required to audit the course.

Yo, I'm on duty tonight. Surf safe, kitties!

Rusty ate most of his food this evening. But it was a low key day for him. He's a little under the weather, I think.

'night all,
