I think the stress from the last week has caught up with me. I woke up with a migraine this morning and ended up staying home. I'm still not feeling great at all, but I finally made it out of bed.

The wonky numbers for both boys are totally my fault. Apparently, I managed to sleep through every alarm last night. Walter probably dropped lower, no one got a snack after +5, and then "someone" found an unopened bag of Mac and Cheese, tore it open and ate some of the cheese powder. Judging by the fact that Mandarin didn't want his breakfast, my money is on him. Luckily, he finally came back down and is now hanging out in the lagoon with Walt while their bean is trying to at least sit up for a bit.

With that AMPS, I'm gonna guess it was Mandarin with the cheese powder... Walter will be fine and they'll both recover from their bean selfishly sleeping through the night.

I hope your migraine improves quickly. I'm not surprised you're not feeling well, you've been running on nothing but adrenaline.:bighug::bighug::bighug: Maybe you can go lie down on the twin mattress with Lenny and nap. ;)

Mandarin, you little scamp! Prayers that the migraine fades fast....obviously you needed the sleep. BTW, I have no first-hand experience with migraines but my friend just took her daughter to the doc for that reason. I don't know the finer details of the appointment, but the doc did recommend taking magnesium and D supplements...have you ever investigated that? Could be worth looking into....

I hope your migraine is better soon and you can get some more rest today. I'm glad the kitties came back down from the mac and cheese high. Sending prayers.

Funny Amy should mention that. I used to get migraines several times a week. Mostly mild to moderate ones, but every so often the kind that make you want to be in a dark quiet room in the fetal position. I started taking a Magnesium supplement, and now I maybe get one every couple of months, and so far they've only been mild ones (anti-jinx). It's sure worth looking into if you haven't already.

Mandarin, you naughty boy!! Stay away from that yucky powdered stuff. The good fuds Mama has for you are worth waiting for.

Walter, no more cliff diving, please. There are rocks in the shallow end of the lagoon. We wouldn't want you to hit one of them!

Sending migraine be gone vines!

Mac & Cheese powder, that's pretty yucky Mandarin. Sorry about the migraine but glad you stayed home and hopefully are getting some rest. Walter's looking great. Wish all those critters can cater to you on days like this. Feel better Christina. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Naughty kitties (bet they had a good time being bad). I hope your migraine doesn't last a long time and you have decent meds. The only OTC thing that helps me function during a migraine is continually sipping a Coke from McDonald's. Don't know why it has to be McDonald's, but it's the best one.

That's exactly what I did - it was lovely. :joyful: I finally managed to get up and took a nice long shower. I still feel a bit queasy, but I will try to get some food into my stomach.

Very interesting - I will look into that. I have some essential oils now too that seemed to help.

....and I am really happy with Walter's cycle today - he is actually staying on the surf board with frequent LC snacks. :D
