Doodles 2/10 Doodles gets a few more cycles to settle down otherwise we go back up. No poop since Wednesday evening. His appy is good and otherwise seems fine. Temps are starting to warm up so it's time for Doodles bath and lion cut....we'll miss his fuzz. I'm super sad his usual groomer no longer comes to our location. She's in Yuma instead which is 3 hours away:( I may call and beg her to come up and groom Doodles...doesn't hurt to ask, right?

Hope all the kitties are feeling good and surf safely.

He's been getting 1/4 tsp twice a day of Miralax for a long time. I've recently been adding an additional 1/8 tsp during the day. He gets backed up from those gravy days and does have IBD with constipation issues. He's also on a high dose of a diuretic which was recently lowered because his kidneys are starting to slow down. I'm hoping it's just the gravy day and he gets back to "normal-ish" soon.
 
Ah poor Doodles! Sending some poop vines for the Doodlebug. And I hope he comes down for you today.

Its not warming up here, but its almost time for the civvie to get her lion cut. I always feel bad during winter :(
 
Doodles stop lolly gagging and get to work now. Hope you find a groomer solution. Don't you hate it when you have someone who is good and kitty likes them, and they up and move on.

She's always worked at the Yuma location but would be up here once or twice a month :( I really liked her and Doodles did too. He use to splash around in the tub for her enjoying the bath. Most groomers really don't like grooming kitties so it's hard to find someone good. Guess her sister is at out location now and that's who his appt. is with.
 
come on Doodles... time to get over your gravy hangover and start pooping again.. hopefully he poops soon and the numbers come down with it :bighug::bighug:
 
oh I will miss his fuzz too!

I love the videos of him going after Moo. He acts like he is a teenager. :)
 
Hi Doodles! Hi Karen! Doodles, you *really* need to poop... don't leave it too much longer or you might end up with another vet visit and come home with much less dignity!
 
Doodles ate less than 1/2 his dinner. His breathing does not sound good...it's "heavy" but heart rate seems fine. He finally pooped earlier today but it was a bit soft and not much. Hopefully it will pass.
 
Awww, geez Karen... I don't like hearing that about Doodles breathing and not so good appy. I will be sending the Doodlebug some very strong healing vines and prayers tonite. And loads of :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: for you.
 
If your groomer has family in your area she may be able to schedule a grooming on the same day she visits?

When I went to AZ I got in -my niece picked me up-
I groomed her M. Coon on her kitchen table and off to the party:cat:

Maybe her sister is as good?
