Happy Friday!!

Sorry I haven't been around much, but between the internet problem and accepting a "job" with DCIN, it's been pretty busy around here!

We had 5 kitties on the east coast who all needed insulin and it was going to be shipped out yesterday....then they decided to have a blizzard!! Found donors close enough to all 5 to get at least a little insulin to get everyone started until it can be safely shipped

The diabetic kitty community is so wonderful!! It took the better part of an evening, but people stepped up to drive around to meet people and donate supplies

I had noticed in the last several days that China's insulin was looking cloudy and tonight when I went to give her PM shot, I decided to grab another pen and compare them.....boy was I right!! I'm hoping that's why her numbers haven't been so "China-like" lately!!

The last one was 3 months old but over half full.....hate to "waste" that much, but it definitely looked bad compared to the new one.

China's ready to party and left a little while ago to go to the Full Snow Moon party!! Keep your eyes open, kitties, there's an eclipse and a comet in the sky tonight too!!

I hope the new pen helps get China back to surfing the lagoon. How nice that people helped get insulin to those in need.

Not really.....it keeps blinking out on me from anywhere from 30 seconds or so to 30+ minutes

I'm a new Case Manager Tara.....basically the same things I do here, help people learn how to test, advise on dose, food, etc.....and help people who have applied for their Compassionate Assistance Program get the supplies they need so they can keep their kitties at home
