They can fool you. Sometimes Teasel is quite perky and then I test him only to find he's high.Phoebe has been playing alot before this reading .
That's too bad, Eric. Maybe something will come of the second interview you went to.319 @ PMPS
Thanks to everyone that wished me luck on the Peapod job. Sorry to say that I didn't get it.
So you think since she's getting more water/moisture from the food she's now consuming less water? She only gets fed twice a day and she used too drink more water. I just find it odd.She is getting more water from the food, and it's probably still keeping her more hydrated than dry food. Cats have a very low thirst drive, so it's not that unusual she wouldn't drink as much.
Yeah Rachel it's probably me just being paranoid. She's definitely not dehydrated. Her skin snaps back quickly. That would be my guess. Cats are used to getting 70% of their water from their food. And remember that wet food is ALREADY giving them more moisture...then adding water to it gives them even more (which is good!). But when they eat dry food, they have to get some water. However, if you're worried, you could just check her for dehydration (pinch up a bit of skin and see how long it takes to go back...if it snaps right back, she's fine).
Is she drinking at all?
Thanks Sharon! Yeah she's happy and playful most of the time! When in doubt look at how she's acting. If she's happy, playful and eating, she's fine. I like that PS this AM!!!!![]()
Hahaha I sound just like you Rachel! You sure we're not related??? Lol! You should see me when I go to leave the house! Phoebe knows how too work me. I cave and give in and give her extra treats!!! Come on look at her sweet face!!! And add her sweet little whimpers, chirps, silent meows, and meows I'm done!!! Lol!!!Hahaha, when it comes to paranoid you're talking to the QUEEN. I only stay slightly sane because my boyfriend reminds me that they're fine. The cats have all figured if they make a sad sort of meow, I'll run right to them, pick them up, pet them, and give them treats. I'm always so worried...and his response is "cats meow. They're fine".![]()
She has you wrapped around her little paw, Eric! Re drinking: I add a fair bit of warm water to all three of my cats' wet food meals and I never see them at the water bowl - that includes Teasel. Lots of big pee lumps in the litter box though!Hahaha I sound just like you Rachel! You sure we're not related??? Lol! You should see me when I go to leave the house! Phoebe knows how too work me. I cave and give in and give her extra treats!!! Come on look at her sweet face!!! And add her sweet little whimpers, chirps, silent meows, and meows I'm done!!! Lol!!!
