Survey for Owners of Diabetic Cats

One of our members posted this link on the Lantus & Levemir page, but I thought it would be good if people using other insulins responded, too. This survey was found on Facebook, and it's by a veterinary student researching owners' knowledge of Feline Diabetes. I think she's going to get way more than she bargained for!

It only takes a few minutes and there is no personal info requested.

Something I did not think of until after I completed the survey: At one point she asks what the normal BG range is. I should have added "on a human glucometer" to my answer. No doubt she will think I was talking about a vet meter and will assume I'm trying to kill my cats.

LOL! It did occur to me, as well, also after the fact! Maybe if she gets enough responses with the same "erroneous" information she'll realize we were all using alternative meters!

I knew using that pet meter would come in handy sooner or later! With use of human meters so common even among vets surely to goodness she'll figure it out.

The two closest vets to us use human meters. Maybe we can convince a future vet that the book doesn't always reflect reality.
