Thoughts on Ziwipeak Air Dried?

It seems this is actually a meat based product not kibble.

Anyone like this food for their kitties? Care to share?

This might make a good addition to the auto feeder for the later snacks in the cycle.

I'm having some troubles with food right now and have Ozzy on weruva. Only thing is it is not a pate and I want something I can freeze and put in the later hours of the cycle.

Any ideas/feedback?

When I was trying out different foods about a year ago, I was able to get a sample of this one. I was actually glad that Radar refused to consider it as a food option since it is a bit pricey.

Radar is also a pate loving kitty. Ive had a terrible time finding food with the correct Consistency according to his discerning tastes and the right carb count. Recently I tried him on raw and he really likes Rad Cat the best I think because it has a very pate like consistency. It also works really well to freeze into little portions and leave in the feeder for late in the day or overnight snacks.

Thanks for your feedback. My kitties also eat Rad Cat mixed in their meals but not by itself. We are not sure we want them to transition 100% to raw because it is also pricey (unless we can start making it ourselves). I am also afraid if we need MC or HC food in a pinch (Low numbers), that Ozzy will get picky on raw only and then won't eat something canned. We just started incorporating raw. It's been a fun journey so far...

we usually follow Radars lead in the food department. At this point he really doesn't want to only eat raw. He also likes Tikicat and some Weruva flavors so he's eating about half raw. we've had so many eating issues in the last year that we decided we would rather pay for food that he will eat than to pay vet bills that get us no where closer to getting him to eat consistently. Just offering the raw everyday has helped him eat better and he absolutely feels better. It's almost like he "knows" he needs to eat a species appropriate diet.

It is not frozen. It seems to be akin to freeze dried food.

I went to the store and purchased silicone mini muffin trays. One big 24 oz tub of RadCat needs 2 muffin trays. I put about 1 ounce in each compartment and put the tray in the freezer. The silicone trays make it really easy to pop the little pucks out of the tray. Then I can put 1 or 2 tiny "hockey pucks" in the feeder or in a dish to thaw over a few hours when it will be ready as a snack. The rest of the pucks go back in the freezer for later.

I didn't think it was OK to let the entire frozen tub thaw out & then refreeze the small portions. Sounds like it is the way to go since the 24oz tub is the most economical. I will try it, thanks!

Well I got a ton of this for Angel and it makes him throw up. Typical. My girl cats love it though, and Romeow will eat it. I think Angel was swallowing it as he hasn't got many teeth!
