In all likelihood, TiTi isn't fully accustomed to being in lower numbers. As a result, the higher ranges don't make her feel awful. Remember, you need to look at the whole cat -- not just the numbers on the SS.

But very recently she spent a few weeks in green and a few blues. Furthermore, she was stabilized in low numbers and very low bounces for months.
This new wave of very high numbers and high bounces is not at all normal for her. It seems to be the new normal, but quite unsettling .
This is one rotten New Year for TiTi and me.

I cannot understand it. How can this be?
I wish I could explain it, but see the same thing with my high dose kitty. What works one day just doesn't seem to work the next. I know you haven't had the tests done, but for IAA, Wendy keeps reminding me to stay ahead of the antibodies, otherwise playing catch up is hard. For acro, it could be the tumor pulsing and releasing more IGF-1 which blocks the insulin from the cells.

There have been a few good colors on the ss so far this year, but not enough(are you listening TiTi?) Start working that juice for the bean!:bighug:

So the IGF-1 released by the tumor pulsing blocks the insulin? That makes sense save for 1 thing. The insulin needs shouldn't be getting higher if the pulsing is consistent., should it? I mean if that were the case, then once the pulsing stops, TiTi's insulin needs could suddenly fall by several units putting her straight into hypoglycemia and killing her. And I don't think that happens, so I'd like to understand this pulsing in more detail.
