Good late night, dear people,

We are holding Bron (@Bron and Sheba ) in our hearts tonight. Sweet Sheba is flying free. Sending vines for a comfortable and warm night to Les and Gussie (@Gussie's mom )

Today disappeared for me: went btb and slept for 3 hours!!. Last night Rusty had bad breathing and I was awake most of the night listening to him and worrying. Finally drifted off. Of course he was fine (normal) today. But then this evening he got a fur shot--a complete fur shot. So I put a dollar in the basket and we will hope he doesn't go too high by morning. We're still in high blues at bedtime.
Rusty's Chewy.com order of Newman's 95% Turkey dinner came. I opened a can for his dinner and he ignored it. But then, right before bedtime, he gobbled it up. Go figure! He played with his tower of fun this evening, right after the fur shot.

Weather was awful today: the ski trip was called off (but I had decided not to go in any event). We had lots of rain, freezing rain, and drizzle. I worked on my presentation.

Sorry to miss so many condos yet again. Thinking of you all.

Sorry about the fur shot, but the LagoonMeister will be back in no time. Did you spend last year's fur shot jar money yet?

We've got rain, rain, and more rain here too. The green lawn is back after almost 6 weeks of white.

Piles of breathe easy vines on their way.

Not yet. I'm going to combine it with this year's. Unlike the past, I didn't do that many fur shots last year. I guess I'm getting a feel for it after 10+ years:p

How is Theo doing? How are the hummingbirds? Are you "rowing" on the C2? I am disgusted with this winter so far. This weekend will still be too warm, with rain and sleet. Can't do anything in the snow we have left and walking on the streets is hazardous. I pulled an abdominal muscle working out on the Nordic Trak; should have stuck with the C2. But my presentation for Sunday's meeting is falling into place. I borrowed a projection machine and a Mac connector for it and will try it out this morning.

Are you going to post a video of your talk, maybe on YouTube? 10-20" in our forecast for the next 2 days and another storm after that. (anti-jinx). Sorry about the pulled muscle. :banghead: And the fur shot. Eat yer fuds, Rusty.
Liz

Like Liz, I'm interested in the talk. My DM used to ski the local mountains when she was a lass (before the days of lifts) and I should gather that knowledge. Theo is doing well - we had an ultrasound checkup last week and his bowels were back to normal size, so his lymphoma is in remission. :joyful: He purrs "hello". The hummingbirds survived the big freeze, but we had to thaw their feeder everyday. We have a least two Anna's here. I am staring at one grooming in the bush in front of me. Now it's above freezing again. :) Yes I'm rowing on the C2, trying do to 3 times a week. Except last weekend when we got out on the water, -4 C. Brrr. But so much more fun and the arm muscles are a bit different than the machine. Ugh on the abdominal pain, you use that for everything. Hope you can get on the rower soon.

I think there is a lot of hope when those of us who have been doing this a long time post that we did a fur shot! :bighug:They can happen to everyone!
I read you aren't posting it but I to would love to hear your presentation as well. If there was more snow I could leave on a snow machine and get there just in time ...maybe.:p We have begun our January thaw so its a mess of water everywhere here. It will freeze up again soon and the rinks will be back and the trails will be full again. In the mean time stay dry!

I can understand you don't want it online. Will you record so we could watch if we can to visit? Or promise to do it again? :) Snow is starting to stick...
Liz
