Hello everyone, Sanofi sent me something in the mail about a $10 co-pay.
I didn't think much of it because of course Uncle doesn't have human insurance. Then I saw that the $10 applies even for people without insurance.
I believe you probably need to have a prescription from your vet to qualify but I'm not sure (I do).
You have to register and print out a card from them. Here are the links:

Unfortunately, most pharmacies won't accept it because it's for a cat.....evidently there's some kind of special registration number that only human MD's can get so most of the time, the card won't work

As long as it does though, keep using it!!!

That's too bad! Not sure why I'm flying under the radar, my pharmacist there knows it's for my cat and is very nice about it, thankfully.

That's what I was told last time I tried to use that card. :(

I read down further when I went to the link and found this:
For the duration of the program, the Savings Card carries maximum savings up to:
• $500 per pack for all patients who are enrolled in a commercial insurance plan, whether Toujeo® or Lantus® is covered or not by your insurance
• $200 per pack of Toujeo® for patients not enrolled in a commercial insurance plan
$100 per pack of Lantus® for patients not enrolled in a commercial insurance plan

I'd definitely be interested in hearing if any one else was successful in using this and was able to get Lantus for $10. The way I'm reading this, if you don't have insurance, the maximum savings would be $100 on a pack of Lantus. So for me in NJ, that would still amount to over $300 per pack.

@Barbara & Uncle that's awesome that this worked for you and you were able to get it for $10!!

So, I've been buying one pen at a time from my pharmacist at Rite Aid. It usually costs a little over $80.
The paper (card) I filled out and showed to my pharmacist says $10 per prescription. The program lasts for 12 months apparently.
On one part of the website it says:
http://view.sanofiusinfo.com/?j=fe8...=fe141d76726d00787c1579&jb=ff9c1770&ju=fe1f15
"Not covered by your insurance, not a problem. Whether Lantus or Toujeo is covered by your insurance plan or not, you still pay just $10."
Maybe my situation was a fluke. I hope someone else will have success using the coupon!!!!!!!!
