Yo Kitties,

It's here: the full moon. And tonight it's the Full Wolf Moon, so we can howl at the moon all we like. We'll gather at Camp Stu on Indian Lake in the Adirondack Mountains of NY State. Bring your scarves and hats and be prepared for rapidly falling temperatures. We'll have fleece blankets and a fire in the fireplace. Out on the lake we can fish through a hole in the ice, clear a patch for ice skating, and we can snowshoe and x-country ski on the lake and through the woods. And, of course, we'll sing and dance and eat! And, best of all, we'll have our Circle of Remembrance when we will remember all of our beloved GAs, especially those who have recently arrived at the Bridge. Emma will pick you up in the L&LL Kitty Bus, where there will be lots of fleece blankets to keep you warm, and where Bug and Lola of Paw Prints Pizza will be making special pizzas. Vanessa will be serving up hot toddies and other warming drinks on the bus. See you all later. Early arrivals can help set up the cabin and get the fire started.

Azalea, Bella, Dancer and Spunky all revved up and ready to arrive early to help set up the Cabin and stay late to help with clean up, too. They are really looking forward to tonight's Circle of Remembrance, too, and being with Sootie and Bo and all their LL GA friends. ❤️❤️

Azalea is thrilled! And admonishing me for not having my childhood Pocahontas outfit that included a cool feather head band. She's routing about to improvise. She wants to look very festive tonight.

Bella, Dancer and Spunky are taking a different approach: saving their energy for helping out and getting together with friends, new and old, and lots of hugs and high fives with Sootie and Bo.
Spunky sez she def wants to join in ice fishing; Bella's at the ready to join in greeting one and all; Dancer wants to mingle, cuddle, play, sing and sample the entire menu.

I haven't heard from Sootie yet about tonight's surprise dessert. But I have heard that she has been seeking Chef Stu's advice about uniquely Adirondack into. I guess it truly will be a surprise. ;) ❤️❤️

On my way. Bringin' the rest of the gang too. Rusty is still here, and Roxi of course and Mama says I gots to bring Licorice cuz she's driving everyone nuts. I'z bringing mine and Rosa's special blanket too - maybe Rosa will cuddle wiv me at da Circle of Remembrance if I bring dat. Da food looks yummy ~ Regan

Yo Rusty!! Best tell Emma not to comes pick me up....we is under something called an "Ice Storm Warning" and mama has been out shopping most of da day getting ready (I don't know what for, but I guess it's pretty big!!.....Der's lots of cat food in da house!!)

I'll grab da next moonbean and be dere soon....saves me some of dat yummy fuds!!

If da storm gets here before I get home, I may has to stay wif you for a few days....Hey! Dat sounds like it could be fun!! Wonder what we can do to get into.....uh...I means stay out of trouble?
 
My kitties just left the house. If there are any more chores left to be done they are there to help. They have jackets and blankets for the ride home.
Jackson is bringing what is left of the catnip plant (which isn't much, but maybe smoking in the fire will provide a comforting aroma ;)).
Ginger just wants to see J.D.

Yo China, I'll save some of every dish for you. Hope you get here to Camp Stu before the Circle of Remembrance. Of course you can stay at my house if the ice storm hits yours. I've got lots of fuds there.

Yo Rusty! Tobey here! Iz bringing dat little blue monster, my baby sister, Livvie, but Mom made me promise I have to keep her ear muffs on which is hard cuz she barely gots ears!!! Maybe Auntie Ellabean can help me so I can go ice fishing!!!! Iz also bringing cimmamum spice nipbread that I helped Mama make and some special surprises for my favorite Auntie Ellabean!

I haz arrived! Bring on the beer, chicken wingz, and cheezecake! It's time to sing and dance, woo-hoo!

I'z bringing my Santa tree skirt for everybody to be warm on around the fire, and so hoomans don't try to put it away when I'z at da party tonight.

Yo Tobey, my mamabean will be thrilled with the nipbread and the surprises. In the meantime, we'll go ice fishing and have a ball. Don't worry about Livvie's ears. We have the warmest fleece hats here, all in great colors to go with any cat's fur.

We will have to tie it on her head. Her ears are REALLY flat. She doesn't even look like she has ears!!!!
 
Yo Beans, The party is in full swing. But we can't see the moon because of the heavy cloud cover. Maybe later on! We just had our Circle of Remembrance and could see and hear our GA pals, brothers and sisters through the veil. They were singing and dancing, too, and the Bridge Kitchen was cooking up some wonderfully aromatic fuds. All the L&LL kitties were entranced. Now we're going down to the lake to skate and maybe try ice dancing and after that, come back up to the cabin and sit in front of the fireplace and tell stories. Don't expect your kitties home any time soon. You don't have to wait up.
