? ???1/12 - TiTi is yellows-pinks for 4 1/2 cycles. Confusing. Do I dosecrease after 6 such cycles?

After all those greens at 9.5U, I am now in consistent yellows and pinks for 4 1/2 cycles. If this pattern continues through 6, or 7, or 8 cycles, what do I do? After all those greens it doesn't make sense to me, to increase TiTi's dose to 1o. But this is new territory for me, so I need advice.

I'm not sure about increasing the dose. The AB could be making her numbers higher. If you do decide to increase, you'll need to watch her once the AB is finished because her numbers could come back down quickly.

Another 7 days. I had no idea that an antibiotic could raise her BG. But she started it January 5th, and quickly gave me 3 cycles of green, so that does not seem logical.
Duh?!?

Oh, and the whole cat of TiTi is still just great. All p's in place. She is, however, twice as hungry as usual. Woke me up twice last night, so I'm putting down more food for her tonight.

I would go ahead and increase her dose. When she goes off the antibiotic, you can be watchful and see if her dose needs decrease and respond at that time. But right now it looks to me like she needs more insulin.
