@Critter Mom ....morning Mogs...just took AMPS with FS 108 then AT 174.... should there be that much difference ??
Was that a FS strip in a FS meter Beth? If so the difference in reading between that combo and the AT meter with AT strip is typical.@Critter Mom ....morning Mogs...just took AMPS with FS 108 then AT 174.... should there be that much difference ??

Yes , Kris, it was FS strip in FS meter and AT strip in AT meter....the gap between the two seemed larger than I would have expected....Was that a FS strip in a FS meter Beth? If so the difference in reading between that combo and the AT meter with AT strip is typical.
Thanks, Mogs...praying for you to have peaceful, restoring dayMorning, Beth.
A difference like that is perfectly within reason for the two meter types.

(Still feeling really awful; the level of fatigue is really depressing. Ah, that elusive goal of being able to just ... be. It's taken me decades - and I slip up regularly - to learn to live with ambiguity. Who'd have thunk that this FD forum could turn into a self help guide??!Also you said something yesterday about watching Elmo's behavior and appetite...he has been hungrier, little constipated....not as much improvement in his energy level as I would have expected tho....trying not to be over watchful and tedious about every little nuance in him..to just relax and watch.
So the moral of the story, Beth, is you have to go
Thank you, Beth.(Still feeling really awful; the level of fatigue is really depressing.

.....wish I could come and get you and bring you here to our spare room with a few of the country and nurse you to better health
Oh, Kris, it has helped me tremendously in that area....to just chill out..thot I had a pretty good handle on that but this is stretching me, in a good way. I am very layer back in all ares of my life except my kids and my cats...that is where I have to practice extra restraint .Ah, that elusive goal of being able to just ... be. I've been crossing fingers that the team'll do well and that they'll all have a great time.Swing by and pick Linda up (after she's finished curling, of course)

It's where "the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune" will take you after decades of onslaught.I truly admire you for this, Kris.
(I think I'm allergic to ambiguity.)

We can have one whenever we like over in the PM booth! Seriously.

Just alert me if/whenWe can have one whenever we like over in the PM booth! Seriously.
Yes, that's what I mean. FDMB wants all dosing help, etc. out for peer review but I don't think they have rules against virtual PJ parties in the PM booth.Kris, by PM you mean private messages as we have done before??
Yes, like golf it can be very Zen.Wouldnt it be grand to actually see it...curling has always fascinated me

My DH and son love to play and watch golf...me? Not so much ! Golf is too tedious for me ....I do love professional basketball though !!! Fast and constant scoringI really like watching curling. Golf does my head in.
Have a safe and enjoyable excursion, Kris!

Some say the horsey pursuit of dressage is like watching paint dry, horse is doing all the work and rider is just sitting there, yada, yada ... Ha! I absolutely love the freestyle dressage to music; it's absolutely magical. I love Valegro. Some say the horsey pursuit of dressage is like watching paint dry, horse is doing all the work and rider is just sitting there, yada, yada ... Ha! If they only knew!
It's handy to keep a note of the little nuances just as a matter of course. Sometimes you find that they build into a pattern (good things as well as things that might need a bit of attention). Also you said something yesterday about watching Elmo's behavior and appetite...he has been hungrier, little constipated....not as much improvement in his energy level as I would have expected tho....trying not to be over watchful and tedious about every little nuance in him..to just relax and watch.
Regal is what first comes to mind for me !! Beautiful !I absolutely love the freestyle dressage to music; it's absolutely magical. I love Valegro.

Keeping notes does add to my peace of mind, Mogs, it really does.Btw, I have purchased a Relion meter /strips to do side -by-side BGs ....can't hurt and now I'm curious. Plus the Relion strips can be purchased easily and for a fraction of even the FS strips. Just want to do what's best for our boy. It's handy to keep a note of the little nuances just as a matter of course. He really is majestic! And one of the truly great horses, just like Arkle, Red Rum, Boomerang, Aldaniti, Desert Orchid and, of course, the legendary Dawn Run. (That cracking little mare gave my dad one of the best days of his life and some of his happiest memories thereafter, bless her!Regal is what first comes to mind for me !! Beautiful !

...I guess it could be worse It is just beautiful, majestic and breath taking ....They've got the most wonderful relationship. It's so sad that they won't be competing any more.
Makes me cry happy tears whenever I watch their performances. They were outstanding at the London Olympics.
.
Side by side at +9.5 was FS 81 and Relion 84... that answered the question and removed doubt ab my FS which I had preordered several boxes of strips for....day at a time, Mogs, day at a timeYou're turning into a meter junkie, Beth!
