I told Boomer this morning that he had a choice: either give me a good number or get a dose increase. He made the right choice
Last night I'm pretty sure he must have scored a couple of pieces of ham which was why he had such a disgusting number at +3. Either that or it was a meter error; I did not retest.
Last night he ate most of his +3 and most of his +6 (without waking me) but decided that he needed a fresh treat crumbled on his +9.
He also slept most of the night with me; I love feeling him stretched out alongside me when I wake up in the middle of the night

Today we're taking the Christmas decorations down; yay for having my space back again! And I'm hoping for either a walk or a snowy owl hunt this afternoon if it doesn't rain.

We'd have to drive to find the Snowy and I'm leaning more towards a walk since it's not too cold today. But we'll see what DH wants to do later

Yes he is improving; he hasn't woken me up at 2:00 am for a few days now. The crumbled treats on his auto feeder overnight meals help

Our tree comes down on Friday (returned to Mother Nature). Then all will be back to "normal".

Our tree comes down on Friday (returned to Mother Nature). Then all will be back to "normal".

Our tree is real as well and instead of being put out with the garbage next week it will sit on our back deck for a few months to provide shelter for the birds.

We did get to go for a walk. It did get cloudy as soon as I mentioned going for a walk but it didn't rain until just a few minutes ago.
No dosecrease for today. We'll see what tomorrow brings
