Happy appy, snuggly, spunky, feisty, and anti-jinxes. Third dose of AB on board about half an hour now...feisty with that pill today, though! She was feeling swatty so I had to repack the gelcap and try again in half an hour. She is pretty snuffly now...I don't know if she picked something up at the vetty, or if the on again/off again snuffles she had are now full-time...wondering if she actually had a sinus infection and with the AB kicking it, maybe her sinus are draining out the gunk??? The step up in snuffles began after I started the AB on Friday. I've got my eye on it. She's eating well, despite the snuffles.

Kinda bummed that DH goes back to work tomorrow. Staycation went too fast, and was filled with too much stress...as usual. One of these years maybe we'll be blessed with a staycation that isn't riddled with trauma....it's been a long, long time since we've had a solidly relaxing chunk of time off.

But, what can ya do?

Today I un-Christmas the house....time to get started.

That makes perfect sense to me. The last round of antibiotics had the same effect on Iris - it finally loosened everything up. Even though it looked yucky for a few days, she clearly felt better once there was some actually drainage.

Happy New year, Amy! After everything that happened over the last few months, I hope the new year is off to a much better start for you and your family.

Thank you...it's always good to hear first-hand experience! As you know, our Frankie has always had sinus issues, but she's never been on ABs in the time we've had her, so I've never seen the "results".

Hoping this is going to be a good year for you Amy and that this time next year you will have had that perfect relaxing staycation that has been so elusive this year! :bighug::bighug:
 
Happy New Year Amy! Hope the AB's do the job to have Trixie feeling better but, you wouldn't know it by her nice start this morning.

Glad you did get some time off and I hear you about having a stress free vaca or a stress free anything!

LOL...can't believe you remembered that! Yes, we've watched a good amount of it (it's still going today) - and we've even seen a few episodes we've never seen before! We also crazily flipped around to some of the absurd New Year's Eve shows when episodes we were too familiar with came on...even got to see the big Mariah Lip Sync "Malfunction" as it happened!
