Bouncy bouncy bouncy goes Hermione. She was surfing along in yellow so nicely I didn't expect black at +11 (533 with FS, 513 with AT) :( I went ahead and gave her insulin a little early. I went with 1.5u since the 1.6u seemed a bit too much.

Yeh, I knew something was up when she was sitting on a chair under the table. That's where she hangs out when she feels punky. I thought it was a hairball, she's prone to those since she's a semi-longhair (floofy ruff, belly, pants and tail) and all the hairball remedies have a ton of sugar.

249 @+9 is a decent recovery, though. Now she just needs to not race for the sky in the next few hours :p

I don't want to wait much longer, just because then I won't be awake for her AM shot. Since .8u was safely in yellow yesterday I figure it should be ok tonight too. Fingers crossed!

I was being snuggled by Hermione and figured given yesterday she'd be in yellows again. What a pleasant surprise! Hopefully without the jump into black at the end of the cycle this time.

The later and later AM dose has disrupted my sleep schedule enough that I slept through all my alarms, including my regular wake up time at noon :banghead: I can't tell if the 1u caused a bounce or if it just wasn't enough. But I gave a cautious 1.4u tonight at +11 rather than let her get into black. I'm helping a friend get ready for the New Years Eve party tonight so I won't be home until late.

I didn't want to give insulin at +11 because I'm going to be out late celebrating the New Year. I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year :cat:
