Nothing much new to report on the China front.....she's absolutely, wonderfully, totally, utterly, thoroughly perfect!! (anti-jinx anti-jinx anti-jinx)

DM did well in PT today and tomorrow I am hoping to find out what's wrong with my water heater.....for about 3 weeks I've only had warm water, nothing close to "hot" and it's getting pretty old! I'm hoping it's not going to be too complicated to fix, especially since I got an alert on my bank balance this morning! If it's over $15, I'm in trouble.....LOL

Had the hospital that did my mammography and follow up ultrasound call me this afternoon to "remind" me it was past time for my repeat ultrasound so I guess I'll go in next week and get that over with....just hoping there's no change (or there's nothing to see at all this time) so we can hopefully go back to not worrying about it for at least a year or two!!

So sorry to hear the results of Mitten's vetty visit today....Dan & Heather have gone over the top to try to help her but it's time for the last gift of love to set her free

I so understand. I've been washing my dishes on the porch and since it got so cold, in the bathroom for several months now. My kitchen sink pipes sprang several leaks, and then the kitchen faucet gave up the ghost, cracked in the middle of the stem, and fell into the stainless steel, bone dry sink. I figure I'm looking at about $300 repair job - plumber, new pipes, new faucet.
Meanwhile, I got a flat tire - some jerk left a big screw on the road and it went straight into my tire. So I'm cautiously riding about on the doughnut. Why? My bank account is down to $4.00.
We are both riding in the same leaky boat.
