Good morning!
Boomer's cycles are driving this bean crazy! Some are normal curves however the insulin seems to only affect him for the first 3ish hours and he goes up from there. Some curves are inverse; I have no idea what causes that!
Prior to this, when he was on insulin, I gave a snack at +9 which resulted in better PS numbers. And when he was on only a tiny dose, or OTJ, I gave a full meal at +9, which resulted in better numbers. But right now I don't think the insulin is lasting anywhere close to 9 hours.
It does seem to result in better AMPS numbers when he doesn't eat his +6 foods. But I've tried giving just a snack at +6 during the day and it doesn't seem to help the PMPS numbers.
And I find it funny that it's normally his AM numbers that are higher; now it's his PM numbers.
My thoughts are: 1) give a snack at +3 instead of a meal and hope that this allows the insulin to work longer or 2) delay the +3 meal (+3.5 or +4) with the hope that it will allow the insulin to work longer.
Any thoughts on the above?

Maybe the holidays just have Boomer a little excited.
