Jack is feeling better! Still not quite back to normal but more interest in food and alertness. A very nice improvement from him pretending to be a rug and having his head on the ground. Got a blue at +6.5, been too long since I saw that color:cool:

Of course his timing is impeccable, I have to go visit relatives and won't be able to get a test in till pmps... I will be leaving out an extra snack just in case since that was a pretty decent drop already and he likes to nadir late.

It doesn't have the Folic Acid that Zobaline has
I wonder if mixing them together might help with the absorption, half a zobaline tab and a dr.'s best? The cost savings would be nice, the zobaline is surprisingly expensive.

Vines for Cara and safe travels to the bridge for Wynken. Hope Gussie and Titi also start feeling better and any other kitties or beans that could use a big hug today.

Glad I left out extra snacks. He had some lc mc mix at 5 from the feeder while I was out seeing grandma and still got a little lower then I would have liked. A good surf for the boy today, hope he behaves tonight as he gets back to normal.

Heard back from the vet and all blood work came back good. The only abnormal results were the specfPl which I pretty much expected. She is calling in the drug trial med to diamond back so we will be getting this trial going soon.

Nice PMPS. Pain management is also recommended for pancreatitis. Maybe that's a way to trial buprenorphine. Sorry you had to be right about the diagnosis though.

It isn't his first flare up and I strongly suspected it was acute pancreatitis flareups, the test just confirmed it. I'm relieved it isn't anything more severe. Thankful I am still just dealing with the same health issues and not adding any more into the mix yet, especially with the upcoming trial start.

I hope now that we have "proof" she will agree to bupe next time around as well, especially if I bring some acro symptoms info to help convince her. Thanks for the info on compounding vs pre-filled syringes, good to know.

Not sure we have anything written on pain management for acros, just lots of experiential stories.
