Sadly, it looks like Walter's string of nice numbers has come to an end. :( ...or maybe he is just planning on another dive - stay tuned for updates. No clue which way it's going to go.

Mandarin is continuing to do great. Another green surf last night and the second night in a row where he didn't drop below 50. :woot: Now if only I had a crystal ball to tell me when it's safe to actually sleep for more than 2-3 hours.

Little Iris also seems to be feeling better. She's been on Baytril for 4 days now and there is no more visible discharge. She still sounds congested, but that seems to be normal for her. She is also continuing to be extra sweet and snuggly and now sleeps under the covers every night. :cat:

Not much on my agenda for today. I woke up with a piercing headache and I really hope that it won't turn into a migraine. I don't do well with the extreme changes in weather and since we went from 34 degrees on Saturday to -12 today, I am not surprised that I am not feeling the greatest. Luckily, it's the kind of day where you don't want to leave the house anyways.

Nice work Mandarin! Come on back down Walter!

We all need to fix our crystal balls. I don't know how all of our can be broken! That is the thing about greens....they are good numbers, but with our cats that are not consistent, we never know what they are planning and we can't sleep.

That is wonderful news on Iris!! Halloween, my civvie always sounds congested, but the vets couldn't find anything wrong. I think they called is chronic rhinitis or something like that. My Charles (GA) also had the same thing, but his was caused after an awful upper respiratory infection that sadly I lost his brother Nigel (GA) to at the age of 5.

Sending vines that your headache goes away quickly. I watch my DD have migraines and they are just awful. I hope you can rest and feel better soon. I wouldn't want to leave the house in those temps either!!!

Walter is just taking a break and who knows...he just might jump back into the lagoon Walter style. Mandarin is simply amazing but can see why you're not sleeping much. Stay warm, snuggle with the kitts and sure hope the headache goes away. I took two naps yesterday myself...it's what watching football is for.

Walter had really good numbers for a few days so maybe this is just a wee bounce and he'll be back in the lagoon soon!
Mandarin is rocking this dose!
Happy to hear that wee Iris is feeling better; how wonderful that she snuggles under the covers with you:bighug:
Have a good day Christina; I hope your headache goes away sooner rather than later.

I hope you have a good day, Christina, and are feeling better
I didn't realize how much snow we got until I tried to take my niece to the airport this morning - wowee!!

Safe surfing, little buddies

I hope Mandarin keeps surfing safely for you and Walter slides down. I'm glad Iris is doing better. I hope you feel better soon. My head doesn't like these weather ups and downs either.

I still have a headache, but it didn't turn into a migraine. I felt well enough by 2 pm that I figured I could venture out to the post office and mail my last few cards and gifts. Not sure what I was thinking to wait until today, even our little branch on the South side was packed. But at least that's done...

Meanwhile, I don't think I need a crystal ball to tell me that Walter might have an active cycle tonight. :nailbiting: Apparently, he was already done on the trampoline.

Since I don't have a snowblower, I don't just know how much snow we get, but I can also tell you if it's light, fluffy snow or the wet, heavy kind. Gotta love shoveling!

Both boys are in the lagoon tonight -- looks like mama bean isn't going to get much sleep. :nailbiting: Good thing you've got little Iris to take cat naps with under the covers between tests. I would never get out of bed if I had a hot water bottle kitten under the blankets with me!

Alarms are set. I just added a bit of gravy to their +2.5 snack, hoping to flatten out their cycles. We shall see how that works.

...I guess I'll try to nap for an hour or two before the next test.
