Rom got the ok to use Lantus

Well, my wonderful new vet called yesterday,and said all systems go for transitioning Rom to Lantus. He said the bottle of ProZinc I ordered had been refunded to me as they have other kitties who use it, I can bring the syringes back and get them refunded and to start on a quarter unit for every kg Rom weighs, so that works out at 2 units. His first dose was given this morning, so paws crossed.

It all seems very positive so far. His BG has gone down considerably, but he seems different. Much more contented and happy. Not that he ever seemed unhappy but I can certainly see a difference in his manner already.
