+1.5 228

Going to give him 4-5 freeze dry snacks before I leave. Poor baby is all confused - acts like he is starving this morning. Hunting every spec on the floors.

What say you - do I need to plan on running home to check on him this morning?

It's hard to tell from just the +1.5. He may give you a yellow surf today or he may dip down into blue again. Sorry, I know that doesn't help much.

Looking flat into that +1.5, going off his previous patterns, if you were home to test I suspect you would find his numbers sliding gently, but it doesn't look like he will dive (of course he is a cat), when he has gone into the low greens you've seen a large drop by now.

Is the hungry thing usual for him in the mornings?
Have you noticed him get like that prior to him taking a dive?
What is your gut telling you?

(whispering now so Giz doesn't hear) I wouldn't be surprised if you saw a blue pmps tonight and perhaps more active PM cycle.

I suspect he'll be heading down today but hopefully just a beach visit with a toe in the lagoon. Good thought from Gill about his hunger this morning and if that is a pattern for you to watch for indicating a more active cycle. When Doodles is hungrier/ eats more it is a clue for me that he might be extra active.

He is always hungry - lol. I suspect it is the less food/more frequent feeding schedule - he is not getting as much first thing but is getting an extra "snack".
Leave the boy some snacks while you are gone.
He gets his LC "snack" @ +2, +4 and +6 via auto feeder - but can't leave any "extra" out - he will eat it once it is put down. :banghead: He had the freeze dry gone before I was out the door this morning.

He is hungry/hunting the floor when he is low (low blues/greens) - he is also a lot more active (physical) but I haven't noticed the behavior prior to the drop - I will try and pay closer attention to this behavior - ya'll are right - it could be an indicator to watch for.

I have been able to tell when he is going down by his behavior more recently.
