Was kind of a strange day for China....kind of expected her to stay in the 80's after that +4 but I guess she had other things in mind!!

Good thing I know her so well since I had to leave at +7 to take DM to physical therapy and didn't get home until +10.5 (I have to giggle at the fact that we don't tell time anymore....everything is + whatever)

I pulled the plug on Branson today...DM is doing a lot better than she was, but it was only a couple of weeks ago when she fell twice and I was seriously considering putting her back in the nursing home. I just think it's too much for her at this point. The weather also isn't looking very good for the next 4 days and I don't want to drive in the rain/snow all that way with the possibility of being miserable the whole time we're there trying to stay warm and dry and still able to get out to the shows. It's just not worth it

I totally forgot that I have pain clinic tomorrow too...I could have rescheduled that appointment, but that doctor's office doesn't like it when I've had to change in the past

There's a really nice light show about 30 miles down the road that DM hasn't seen for several years....Hopefully I can take her down there, out for a nice dinner someplace and maybe go to the little theater here in town for a show (not sure what they're doing this year but they usually have some kind of holiday play/musical)

Hope you're all having a good Monday and your kitties are on their best behavior!! (yeah, right....I can hope, can't I?....LOL)

I still feel the same way.....I just wish another doctor within a reasonable driving distance would work with the pain pumps so I could fire this AH

We won't do it tonight....she really works hard in PT so it takes a lot out of her.....I'll take her some evening when she's well rested and can really enjoy being out and about! Would love to take her to this restaurant down by the light show....their food is awesome.....but of course you pay for that awesomeness too! You can expect to spend at least $50....if you have appetizers, entrée, dessert and drinks, you're going to easily drop $100 per person

China is looking good. Sorry you had to cancel the Branson trip, but I'm sure your mom will enjoy the local trip when you get to take her.

I'm so sorry you had to cancel the trip, but I think it was the right decision. Better to do some shows closer to home, so you can schedule them around how she's feeling. The local places also probably have better accommodations for handicapped, too.

China, Mama's on to you! Shame on you for trying to make her stay home. No tricks tomorrow, now!
