Another blue start for Walt. Very nice to see both boys working the juice - I could definitely get used to this. :) Amazing how happy a color on a spreadsheet can make you.

As for Iris:
Refresh my memory, please. Is the congestion just in her nose or in her chest? If in her nose, one thing my vet suggested was infant nose drops. I think they're called "Little Noses". Of course, administering them is not the easiest thing in the world, but I think they did help Sasha.
Yes, it's all in her nose. The vet even took chest x-rays at some point to rule out pneumonia and her lungs looked perfectly fine. I wish I could say that I could get nose drops into her, but she is one wiggly and feisty 4-pound tiger when I try to medicate her. I can give it a shot, but I am not too optimistic.

How does Iris eat - did the pred increase her appetite?
Her appetite is great! She is usually the first one to run up to the bowls and will push the big boys out of the way. However, she seems to have a hard time swallowing food. She is a super messy eater and at least half the food falls out of her mouth.

Since it's been a while that I have posted a picture, here are my two baby girls.

Awe! The picture is adorable!!!

Keep working the juice boys!

I agree, good colors on a spread sheet make me very happy too!!

Glad the boys are working the juice and oh yes, the colors on the SS can sure make or break a mood for the bean. (Hard not to let it happen)

The girls are super cute and look like good friends!

Such sweet, pretty girls!! Since Iris's issues are in her nose, I wonder if she would benefit from an elevated bowl, to help relieve sinus pressure and gravity-induced snuffles. Could be something to try! I know when Trix is snuffly, she does eat much better when the plate is higher.

The boys are looking good. And the girls are super cute. Funny none of mine like pet beds. PJ likes to curl up in a curled up extension cord. Strange kitty.
Most of my cats prefer my bed over cat beds - but this bed was strategically placed next to a heating vent and was thus irresistible. :cat:

Yes, they sure love each other. They play hard and then snuggle. It's too cute.

I have to come see them again before they grow up!!
Yes, let's plan on it!

...and Walter is already dropping early in the cycle. I just fed everyone an early LC snack, hoping that that will keep him on the surfboard.

Mandarin, that is quite far enough. Can't you see you've scared Walter into going further ashore? You need to head back towards him and show him it's safe in the lagoon!

LOVE the picture of the girls. I never was able to squirt the stuff directly up Sasha's nose, but managed to get it on her nose, then tilted her head back and let it drip in. I did think it helped a little, but that might have been wishful thinking.

My mood was often determined by the colors on the boys' spreadsheets! Who knew feeling blue could be a good thing?! ;)

However, she seems to have a hard time swallowing food. She is a super messy eater and at least half the food falls out of her mouth.
Forgive me if you've answered this question, but are you sure there are no issues with her teeth? Harvey did the same thing, and his teeth needed cleaning, but they didn't want to do it because of his other issues.

Both Iris and Flora had a pretty rough time when they were starting to get their adult teeth. I'm pretty sure that she should have all of her adult teeth by now (she is 7 months old), but it is certainly possible that that is still part of the problem. I'll try to take a look at her mouth and see if anything looks inflamed.

...and Mandarin is still hanging out in the 60s. I fed a low carb snack at +9 and hope that he will come up a bit so I can get a shootable number.
