Ok i did it! Retested and he was at 8.2 after 15mins of doing stuff for the rest of the pride so i went back and did it... stomach is nervous but everything i have seen here shows its going to be ok so here we go lol
 
Ok, so put the 8.2 in the AMPS column since that's the number you shot. You did shoot a 172 about 10 days ago so great job this morning!
 
I agree with Karen if you are able to monitor and have supplies shooting was the way to go.

Don't forget to grab that +1 and +2.

Alarm already set for 1 hour - tried staying up a lot last night to see if i could catch nadir... lol he knew it i think and really worked the dose and again no nadir when he slid all night... plus stayed up with Savannah just to spend time with her just in case -- but i have my alarm clock and i lots of strips and good food so here we go... would love to see a green out of my boy but regardless we had him in blues for hours at least
 
Oh geez, I didn't even think to ask if you were OK to stay up. It's always a factor when shooting..have to take care of yourself too. Hope he just surfs along for you.
 
Yes and when i look to the last blue visit at the +1 he gained more so hopefully it a sign that the bounces will start being less intense.... but for sure he is slowly but surly staying in better numbers for longer periods... now to just teach his liver what is normal again
 
He has a bit of a food bump there. Forgive me if you have answered this before, but what type of food is he getting?

Let's keep our paws crossed that as he heads into onset he drops a bit again.
 
he is on LC wet foods only.... hasnt had crunchies in over 3 months now... i have him on a combination of hound and gatos, merrick, weruva, authority , and natures variety
 
was hoping to not bounce all the way into the red... oh well its a sign i had him more in the normal range and his body panicked.. have to keep telling myself that
 
Vet just called - all BW and urinalysis for Savannah was good except for the pancreatitis number which is 0.1 above normal so pathologist is saying she is just getting over or just started another bout of pancreatitis... but we got her anti-inflammatories in her fast and i kept her eating so the vet thinks she is already starting to clear it.... will keep up the pred for a while and watch her... but she is coming out from under the couch and back to eating some of the normal foods with the rest of them... so that is a good sign... abdominal area is still a little full and distended feeling... if that doesnt change in the next few days vet would like an xray... but all other BW came back good and she is out, about and cuddling so today is a good day

That's good news. Sending lots of continued feel better vines and prayers for her.

Great progress for Lincoln today especially with the FS just 3 cycles ago..that is super promising. Sorry about the bounce but hope you were able to get a little rest.
