Yesterday, more visits and vines for Neko from my dear L/L friends. :bighug:

I am not thrilled with today's start. but still waiting a couple of cycles for the depot to build. I suspect I will have to fatten the dose back a bit as the lows were with little food on board.

Neko's RR (resting respiration rate) was 24 today. :joyful::joyful: Breathing seems pretty relaxed. Appy isn't spectactular, but I suspect it's a matter of the menu choices. :rolleyes: The NV LID turkey she loved yesterday is "so yesterday".:cat: At least she doesn't seem nauseated. I'm going to hunt for a couple more options today.

Vines to all others in need today. TGIF!
 
Good report on the respiration rate. :) Heading in the general direction of the lagoon, keep going, Neko. Sending appy vines and some general purpose vines, too.

Lovely RR for Miss Neko:joyful: I hope her appy continues to improve and you find a few other acceptable menu items. Hopefully it won't be long until she's back in the lagoon. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
No better place to heal then homes surrounded by her loving beans!! Love how one day they can't get enough of a certain type of food and the next you get the look "you have got to be kidding me... me eat that?"... lol Hope you both have a slow lazy day after you find her some more desirable food :bighug::bighug:
 
Yay for a good rr, hopefully she'll slowly slide down into nicer numbers, though that 180 ain't too shabby considering all she's been through.

Keep on breathin' well, Neko. Eat yer delicious fuds so that your mamabean will be happy. Keep on comin' down toward the lagoon. We'll keep those vines coming: all sorts of vines for everything!

Looks like she's staying high today. Fuds hunt wasn't very successful. I found a small cat of the NV venison but couldn't find the Merrick ones Sharon mentioned yesterday. I know I've seen them on a pet store shelf - I just can't remember which store! Not one of the close one apparently. :rolleyes: She will eat the old standards, Lamburgerini and Royal Canin Recovery. I'd love to replace the Recovery with something lower phosphorus and better quality protein - she's losing muscle mass.

I am about to give Neko's first dose of Lasix. :nailbiting: Otherwise I wouldn't have gotten a late cycle test with that high +7. It's liquid, who knows what's in the liquid, but they didn't have anything small enough to give Neko. I may have to go the compounding route on it too.

It's quite high in phosphorus - so no. I have done broth with chicken and ome bones it it, but not cooked so long the bones disintegrate.

I'm so glad to see Neko's RR is good. BG numbers aren't terrible, so we'll just look at the appy. Hmmm. Needs work. Eat yer fuds, Neko! Sending appy vines and more prayers and :bighug:s.
